...If you are currently running your XBOX 360 through a TV using the supplied RGB Cables then you are missing out on the power of the 360. When I first bought mine in December 2005 I was using the supplied RGB Cables , this was o.k I was happy with the result , But I wanted desperately to try the HD modes . I had visions of spending £600+ On a New Fangled HDTV from the local Argos Until I read that Literally any old PC monitor would run the XBOX 360 in HDTV mode with these cables !!! I spent my hard earned cash on a set & hooked them up to my Relisys LCD TV ( P.C Monitor & TV all in one) Using the VGA Input . I went to the settings for the 360 & changed to it to 1360 x 768 . The Difference was unbelievable !! , trust me you WILL NOT want to plug those old RGB cables in after this . Everything is much clearer , Crisper & better...

Take note Sony & sort the analoge thumbsticks (wrong place for the left thumb & they should be concave!) & the slippy triggers! Connecting it to the tv, ok, it comes with the SD connections we have all come to know & component (most TV's wont accept 1080P thru component) but we got a full HD system, so we need HD connections! If you were feeling flush & wen't for the elite model, then you're sorted, microsoft HDMI is included, if like me, you went for the 20GigHDD model, then you need to get your hands on an HDMI, great if your amp takes an HDMI, mine doesn't, still in the days of fibre optics here, only way you can have HDMI & optic out, is to either buy the Microsoft cable (Pricey?), or be a little sneaky, prise open the connection @ the 360...

...The microsoft xbox 360 is in my opinion the best games console out there, ultimately enhanced by the superb online gameplay capabilities and magnificient graphics which it has. It is incredibly easy to use (even my dad can use it) and it is easy to transfer date from a computer to it also. There is a huge variety of games that can be played on it and the games that can only be played on the xbox 360 (gears of war, halo 3) are better than the games that can only be played on Sony Playstation 3 (Little Big Planet). Even though the online gameplay costs, (£5 a month if paying monthly) it makes up for it with seriously awesome gameplay compared to PS3 live which is free however not as good. ...Being a playstation boy I've never bothered with the Xbox, however through boredom and impulse I found myself buying an Xbox 360 one day. To coin a Carlsberg phrase, the 360 is probably the best console around. The graphics are second to none and until sony can get to grip with what they really want out of the PS3 the 360 will remain streets ahead. It is available from around £180 upwards depending on system and game bundles you purchase with it with again leaves it extremely better priced than the PS3. The controller whilst more bulky than sony controllers fits nicely in the hand and the rechargeable battery pack is a must get addition. Now, If you have a SDTV I recommend the Official Xbox 360 Advanced SCART Cable which will improve your 360s graphical performance on an SDTV and for just £17.99 is well worth it though you may feel that after forking out £279.99 or £199.99 respectivly that it should have perhaps been issued as standard. Trust me though, the 360 looks superb whatever TV you hook it up to, HD or SD! Core or Premium? Which bundle should I choose? PREMIUM!!! I cannot stress enough that the premium is the bundle to go for! The extra £80 is well worth it in the long run and will save you alot of hassle in the long run. The reason the Xbox was the best was because it can do a lot more than their competitors who created the Playstation 2. The Xbox produces way better graphics, you can download music onto it, it comes with a hard drive built in, you can have four players at once and with the PS2 you can only have two. The Xbox and the PS2 are even the same price, and the PS2 comes out costing more because you have to buy a memory card or you won't be able to save. Memory cards for the PS2 are about twenty dollars. ...First hearing about the new xbox 360 coming out, i was utterly stunned at how microsoft could improve and produce a new xbox, better than the previous model they put on our shelves. The new slick curvey design that micro soft had intergrated into the new 360 makes the hole machine alot more cooler and represents itself in a hole new way of attracting attention from customers willing to pay the prices that the xbox was being sold at. The xbox 360 itself has got great visual aspects and the graphics i think are superb...a great improvement from the 1st xbox. Every game i play on the 360 really looks so life like, for example project gotham racing and test drive unlimited which are both driving simulation games have fantastic graphics with great detail right through to every car you drave and every track you choose upon to drive on...

...Power is the first thing that comes to mind when i think of the xbox 360 elite, it has a huge 120GB hard disk drive and the graphics seem to run alot smoother that the original xbox 360 for some reason. I had the original xbox 360 but that died on me about 2 weeks after buying, microsoft seem to have sorted out these little issues that kept crashing the system. The elite has a HDMI port which means you can connect this straght into your HD socket on your tv, I have a 42 inch plasma and i thought the graphics was good on my old Xbox 360 through a scart lead but once i plugged this in i was blown away! The graphics are amazing, perfect detail can be seen on the games that you play. You get the HDMI cable with this system too which is just great as they are quite exspensive to buy, you also get one black wirless controller and a headset...
