...Okay, so i thought there wasnt much more that apple could do to improve the nano; how i was wrong. The new nano has some major changes incorporated into the new model : fm transmitter, pedometer and camera as well as the voiceover technology that has recently appeared on the new shuffles. The new incorporated camera is great for shooting video. It does so recording onto VGA and the itunes will automatically keep 200mb of space free to shoot some video. The camera is placed on the bottom left opposite side to the front of the unit, and is a smallish lens. There are also 16 modes which can be used to create some effects instead of normal old video. Traveling Via Vias

Advantages: Lovely beach....the south of France, dahling
Disadvantages: Not much to do without a car

the new nano

Advantages: Excellent features, more than you would expect from a music player
Disadvantages: The minimum volume is too loud

...Before getting the new ipod nano the only mp3 player I had before was the ipod shuffle. I never used to be a big music listener but I have found that I now listen to it more. It started to become very annoying not having a screen and so not being able to choose a song. I chose the new ipod nano because of it's good screen size, I wanted to be able to watch videos on it. Also, I didn't want to get anything with too big a capacity like the ipod touch because i knew I would never fill it. I have to say I am very happy with my choice. It has a good size screen and a good capacity whilst not being too big. The battery lasts for 24 hours when playing music and 5 hours when playing video. The nano also has a small speaker allowing you to play music without earphones. It doesn't play too loudly but enough to have music on whilst cleaning...

Advantages: Great sound, Looks great

...Looks This Ipod is very stylish, I love the baby blue colour of it. Its small and sleek which can only be a good thing. The stainless steel back also adds to the looks but unfortunately it does scratch easily so care must be taken not to scratch it. Just like a lot of ipods, it has the scroll wheel which is unique to the Ipod and just adds to the looks. The display is much better than the older ipod nano with it being bigger and brighter which is useful when outside in the sun, however it can still be much brighter as it's still a little difficult to see in the sun. My Favourite of All The Nanos

Advantages: Great interface, ease of use, looks great, nice video quality.
Disadvantages: Can only work with THE SLOWEST PROGRAM EVER (iTunes), only plays MP4 video format.

...I've had this iPod (In Black) for a year and a half now and I love it. The design and body fits perfectly into my hands, it's small, lightweight but sturdy at the same time. Unlike more recent versions of the Nano, this one has the classic 'mirror' back, which I prefer to the simple wrap around plastic. The iPod its self has a nice interface and the scroll wheel works very well. It also comes with three pre loaded games, a card game (Klondike), an iPod Quiz (the most fun, tests your knowledge of music from your iPod, very cool) and a break-the-blocks type game (my least favourite). These are all fun to play whilst waiting for a bus or something similar. The music quality is very good IF (and only if) you buy some decent headphones. Apple's supplied headphones are terrible and buying some new ones (May I recommend Creative or Samsung...

...Apple's Ipod Nano 3g 8gb is a sleek piece of tech. Fits perfectly into your palm and although is now not the newest, to me is still the nicest shaped out of the nano's. 8 gb is enough for most peoples library and quite a few average sized videos. The Album art feature works beautifully, the scroll wheel has all the normal uses as in previous nano models. This nano also comes with 3 free games, Klondike, a solitaire-like game, Vortex, a arcade game where you rebound the ball against blocks, and the impressive iquiz which tests your knowledge on your own music. ...I purchased this product in a makro store in Belfast for £100 think this is a good price. I have only had this iPod for a few weeks but I have found it very useful it's an iPod nano. I bought it for music to my delight I found it was also capable of videos and movies. The iPod nano is just like the iPod classic in most ways except size the size of the iPod it's tiny but basically the same layout as the iPod classic. the front of the iPod is jet black plastic while the back is silver metal both are easily scratched so it is a good idea to put your iPod in a case of some sort they can be picked up cheaply at many stores. The iPod has an 8 GB memory it is enough for some of my music, pictures and videos or if you do not need that much you could get the 4GB version for £90.00 I know I would pay £30 pound extra for 4GB more...

...There are a lot of new things this ipod has to offer, and a lot that I also think are pretty pointless too. However it certainly is the cheapest ipod nano on sale at the moment coming in at only £110 for an 8gb one whereas the previous nanos were around £140 for the same amount of memory. At first glance it looks like apple have gone back to the 1st generation design which im quite happy with as I did prefer this shape to the more square generation 2 with the tiny click wheel. However something which I still haven't worked out if I like or not yet is its rounded body, I suppose it does make it look a little bit sleeker but I did like the previous square edged ones. A new feature this ipod has if the ability to turn on cover flow when you turn your ipod to the side. In all honesty this I pretty pointless, its hard to navigate...
