Advantages: Lovely beach....the south of France, dahling

Not satisfied with the usual 'one name per place' rule, you'll find references to the areas of Vias, Vias Plage and Vias sur Mer (on post cards, in brochures, on the internet) but, confusingly, only 2 different parts of town, the touristy end and the old French bit. ****** Travel We drove Manchester to Liverpool, flew Liverpool to Nimes, taxied to Nimes town centre, caught a train to Agde and then taxied to Vias Plage. Travelling days were long - in excess of 8 hours - but if you live in other parts of the UK, or are happy to pay a little more for your flights you can reduce the trip quite significantly by flying to Montpellier and then grabbing a cab from there. We chose the fun long way round instead, and paid £100 each...

The most famous fashion streets in Rome are the three parallel streets that all run into Via del Corso - Via Condotti, Via Borgognona and Via Frattina. And the most famous of these is Via Condotti, named after the channels that carried water to the nearby Agrippa thermal spa baths. But that's all water under the bridge now...as it were. Get Shopping on Via del Corso.

Advantages: Plenty of variety, not all designer, lots of affordable places, food and cinema.
Disadvantages: You might fall in love with designer clothes in the windows!

.... Via del Corso runs from Piazza Venetia, below the Il Vittoriano monument in the center of Rome, all the way up to Piazza del Popolo in the north of the city. It's one of the biggest streets for shopping in Rome and is frequented by tourists and locals, looking for a variety of goods. There are no sites that would be of interest to a tourist on Via del Corso, but there are so many very nearby such as the Spanish Steps, the Pantheon, the Trevi Fountain and Forum Romanum. So if you're doing a lot of walking around the city, then you're bound to find yourself on this street at some point. It's certainly well worth a visit as it's an interesting street with a good variety of shops and a good atmosphere. ...Very disappointed! I have the French map only version with the latest software Vs7. I brought it due to the full European life time license for live traffic information including major roads not just the motorways as some have. Unfortunately to receive this information you need to be connected to the car mount and have its external aerial connected. This makes forward planning an testing experience of hanging out a window with a damp finger against the contacts on the unit while trying to tune to a FM signal. But back to basics. Version 7 was only released in the UK at end of October I seem to have a pre launch version . I contacted Via Michelin, not easy, and they have added a rushed French manual on line but its poor pictures and layout make it very difficult to use. it seems any changes to try and improve the poor performance...

I'll be using these processors in a machine that will be doing a lot of video compression and 3D modeling, which are some of the applications that Intel processors are better suited for than A M D's (comparing the Clover town X e o n to the Barcelona O p t e r o n). I like A M D's C P U s too, but I n t e l s are the better tool for these jobs. Cons: None so far, but there is a caveat that purchasers should be aware of. The LGA771 socket requires a special case that accommodates the heat sink for the processors. The LGA771 specs require that the heat sink be attached directly to the case instead of the motherboard. ...For a good night out visit Via Fossa on Canal Street in Manchester. There are tables outside for when the weather permits and inside there are different levels and a dance floor DJ and lots of nooks and crannies to hide away in and enjoy the evening!! One thing to watch out for though are the low flying speakers *g*. A friend did manage to walk into one of them ... he was under the influence of alcohol at the time but it is something to be aware of. People are friendly and loo's are clean which is a big plus in a busy place in town!!There was still toilet roll left at the end of the night, a real bonus. It's worth paying it a visit and I am sure that once seen you will want to go again!! It is open until 2am so you can party half the night away in one spot at least *s*...
