...I spent 5 days in Livingstone after working in schools in the north of the country for 3 weeks. I went in May, which is considered winter time, buti t was dry and as hot as a good day in the English summer (but very cold at night). The rainbow from the falls can be seen from the road leading to it, about a mile away, but nothing can prepare you for the sound of the water crashing down! It cost around $10 to go to the falls, but you can pay the equivalent in kwacha. There are several viewing points where you can see the falls, which are astounding. It can be tricky getting the perfect photo if it is busy, as the viewing areas are quite small, but that is the nature of this beautiful area.They made me feel very humble, and closer to nature-away from our materialistic world. You can carry on past the falls and walk alongside...

I needed something to take my mind away, so Fantasy and Science Fiction films are always on the top of my favourite film category. ...Nottingham has two large shopping centres, the Broadmarsh Centre and the Victoria Centre, situated at opposite ends of the city centre .The Victoria Centre is the bigger of the two, containing 120 shops (not counting all the various stalls in the market area.) Getting there is easy - if you drive, there's parking for over 2700 cars . If you don't drive, don't worry - almost all the Nottingham City Transport buses stop either directly outside the Victoria Centre, or within a few minutes walk of it . Other bus companies from slightly further afield, such as Trent Barton , terminate at the local coach station within the centre . If you're walking, the centre is signposted from various points in the city centre, and at the end of the day when you're weighed down with shopping, there are 2 taxi ranks directly outside the main entrance...

The Fall- A gem of a film.don't miss it

Advantages: Fantastic script,visually appealing,Great performances.
Disadvantages: None really.A few might not like it though

...First things first,a big thanks to Puggers for writing about this movie! Here is one brilliant film which combines a lot of genres and a film you will remember for long. The fall is directed by Tarsem Singh and stars Lee Pace as the main protagonist. Alexandria is a small girl living in a catholic hospital for his fractured arm where she meets an injured stuntman named Roy who agrees to tell her a story of 5 mysterious heroes trapped in an island who are looking to kill Prince Odius. Injured Roy needs morphine from the hospital pharmacy and asks Alexandria to steal it for him if she wants to hear the complete story. Being lured to hear the story,she would go to any extent. Dudhsager Falls

Advantages: Beautiful scenery, get to feed wild monkeys, good value for money

...I visited Goa in India in March 2006 and while I was there, we went to visit Dudhsager Falls. About Dudhsager Falls The Dudsager Falls are on the border of Karnataka and Goa. The highest point of the falls is 600 metres and it is classed as the 5th highest waterfall in the world. The falls themselves are located inside a tropical jungle with lots of beautiful scenery all around. Getting There We stayed in Calangute in Goa and to get to the falls, we took a taxi which took about an hour to get there. ...The Victoria Park Plaza in London is an amazing hotel that has very comfortable, quality rooms and staff who are friendly and professional. The best thing about The Victoria Park Plaza is that it is in a prime position just two minutes from Victoria Station and an easy walk to some of London's main attractions. I found it perfect for shopping and buying souvenirs. There were also quite a number of restaurants close by and my mum who cannot walk far didn't complain once. Although we ate at the hotel we also sampled London's China Town. It is a four star hotel and lives up to the standard. It is situated close to Buckingham Palace, Harrods, Westminster Abbey and Houses of Parliament.
