Advantages: Pleasant Staff, Good Customer Service, Nice Breakfast Disadvantages: Expensive
...The Victoria Park Plaza in London is an amazing hotel that has very comfortable, quality rooms and staff who are friendly and professional. The best thing about The Victoria Park Plaza is that it is in a prime position just two minutes from Victoria Station and an easy walk to some of London's main attractions. I found it perfect for shopping and buying souvenirs. There were also quite a number of restaurants close by and my mum who cannot walk far didn't complain once. Although we ate at the hotel we also sampled London's China Town.
It is a four star hotel and lives up to the standard. It is situated close to Buckingham Palace, Harrods, Westminster Abbey and Houses of Parliament. The hotel does not allow smoking anywhere near the building which my mum and I really appreciated because we are both none smokers. The smoking ban made...
Advantages: Lovely hotel in convenient location Disadvantages: Views aren't that great, but it is London!
...I have just returned from staying in this hotel with my boyfriend over New Years for 2 nights. We booked it through Hotel Direct, as they offered the best deal and I have used them before without any problems.
** Hotel Location ***
The address of this hotel is 2 Bridge Place,. Victoria, London, SW1V 1QA. Its situated directly opposite the side entrance of Victoria station & underground which is extremely handy! You come out of the hotel and cross the road and your in the station. Despite this, the road that it is on is pretty quiet, and there's no noise from the station, although there were a couple of building sites nearby, but these were pretty quiet (but could have been because it was New Years Day!) However, most of London is a building site at the moment, they seem to be sticking apartments up in every little space they can...
Advantages: Great value hotel. Right in the heart of London. Lovely staff. Disadvantages: None that i can think of.
...I will start by saying i love london. It is such a wonderful city for so many reasons: The shopping, the sights, the parks, the history, the nightlife, eating out, and the buzz of london city life. There is so much to see and do but staying in hotels in the centre of london can be VERY expensive. BUT not when you stay with easy hotels.
I just want to say dont be put off having a great london break because of overpriced hotels. When me and my girlfreind go to london (2-3 times a year) we always stay at the easy hotel in VICTORIA. Right in the heart of the city FOR ONLY £35-£40 PER NIGHT AND THATS FOR THE TWO OF US!!!!!!!! Now in my opinion that is a great deal.
OK you can spend £100s per night for a hotel with an over priced bar and an expensive resturant, and a bit more luxurious hotel. But what is the point of all this you are in...

~~The Plot & What It's All About~~
The Young Victoria is a film based on Queen Victoria's younger life. I am a history fan but don't know all that much about Queen Victoria other than is was and still remains the longest reigning monarch of England.
The film is set from Victoria's birth and quickly moves on to her being a teenager, the introduction to the film explains about the death of her father and who her two uncles are: The King of England and The King of Belgium as well as touching...
...Nottingham has two large shopping centres, the Broadmarsh Centre and the Victoria Centre, situated at opposite ends of the city centre .The Victoria Centre is the bigger of the two, containing 120 shops (not counting all the various stalls in the market area.)
Getting there is easy - if you drive, there's parking for over 2700 cars . If you don't drive, don't worry - almost all the Nottingham City Transport buses stop either directly outside the Victoria Centre, or within a few minutes walk of it . Other bus companies from slightly further afield, such as Trent Barton , terminate at the local coach station within the centre . If you're walking, the centre is signposted from various points in the city centre, and at the end of the day when you're weighed down with shopping, there are 2 taxi ranks directly outside the main entrance...
Advantages: Pleasent stay, good food, central location Disadvantages: Views from room
...eateries/drinking places and chose 372, which offers carvery selection. I was surprise how hot and fresh the food was. Not only that it was tasty too! We opted for lamb with roast potatoes, new potatoes and three vegetables. However, my only complaint about the meal was the vegetables; they were a tad on the raw side for my liking. That said I ALWAYS OVER cook my veggies. Dessert was for me home made apple pie and cream, while the other half opted for home made cheesecake ? both were consumed without any complaints and very much enjoyed. Our meal for two with drinks cost £29)
Hotel: the hotel it situated in the Strand which is in central London and easy to walk to theatres such as the Aldwych, Lyceum, and many more. Come out the front of the hotel and turn right, and you?ll be heading towards Trafalgar square with Nelson, bear left and you...

...around ten minutes in a queue to get two underground tickets, which came to a very reasonable £6. We then took the underground to Victoria, which only took around 10 minutes and didn?t require any changing of tube routes. My grandma, although having not stayed in this part of London before, had a very good idea of where the hotel was in relation to the underground. It wouldn?t have been a problem even if she hadn?t of known, as; as soon as we rose up from the underground stairs we were met by a large sign with a huge black arrow on it stating ?The Grosvenor?. We followed the sign and within literally a minute, we were outside the hotel.
First impressions and checking in
The hotel, from the outside was utterly huge, and extremely beautiful. It reminded me very much of a palace, it was a creamy brown colour and looked incredibly posh...

...Review of McVities Victoria Luxury Chocolate Biscuit assortment
McVities are a well know biscuit and snack manufacturer in the UK. The Victoria Luxury range certainly lives up to the name as they are a truly luxurious selection of chocolate coated biscuits.
Product and Packaging
The biscuit assortment is presented in a beautiful royal blue, rectangular shaped tin. The tin is sealed with a sellotape strip for freshness and once this is torn open the biscuits themselves are covered with a padded paper shield which also acts as the description for each biscuit. The tin contains 800g in weight, the biscuits are well protected in a plastic inner tray.
The tin contains twelve different biscuits, all either half or fully coated in milk, plain or white chocolate. There are approx four to six biscuits in each of the varieties...
