I used my two week free trial with this company and remained with them for a couple of monthsbefore moving on to try many other companies free trials (and winning a new DVD player on Tesco DVD rental site on their free trial offer). ...The Victoria Park Plaza in London is an amazing hotel that has very comfortable, quality rooms and staff who are friendly and professional. The best thing about The Victoria Park Plaza is that it is in a prime position just two minutes from Victoria Station and an easy walk to some of London's main attractions. I found it perfect for shopping and buying souvenirs. There were also quite a number of restaurants close by and my mum who cannot walk far didn't complain once. Although we ate at the hotel we also sampled London's China Town. It is a four star hotel and lives up to the standard. It is situated close to Buckingham Palace, Harrods, Westminster Abbey and Houses of Parliament. The hotel does not allow smoking anywhere near the building which my mum and I really appreciated because we are both none smokers. The smoking ban made...

We booked it through Hotel Direct, as they offered the best deal and I have used them before without any problems. ** Hotel Location *** The address of this hotel is 2 Bridge Place,. Victoria, London, SW1V 1QA. Its situated directly opposite the side entrance of Victoria station & underground which is extremely handy! You come out of the hotel and cross the road and your in the station. Despite this, the road that it is on is pretty quiet, and there's no noise from the station, although there were a couple of building sites nearby, but these were pretty quiet (but could have been because it was New Years Day!) However, most of London is a building site at the moment, they seem to be sticking apartments up in every little space they can...

The Victoria Luxury range certainly lives up to the name as they are a truly luxurious selection of chocolate coated biscuits. Product and Packaging The biscuit assortment is presented in a beautiful royal blue, rectangular shaped tin. The tin is sealed with a sellotape strip for freshness and once this is torn open the biscuits themselves are covered with a padded paper shield which also acts as the description for each biscuit. The tin contains 800g in weight, the biscuits are well protected in a plastic inner tray. Surprising Picture Quality - Panasonic DVD-S54

Advantages: Incredible picture quality when compared to my old non-upscaling player with a scart lead
Disadvantages: Sometimes disc drive can be really noisy when DVD's initially load.

Unable to afford a Blu-Ray player my sister and I bought the Panasonic DVD-S54 to match our parents brand new Panasonic TX-32LZD80 LCD television as their Christmas 2008 present. Admittedly it was a slightly selfish purchase as we both live at home and wanted to watch DVDs on the big new TV ourselves! We bought the player from the electrical retailer Comet for about £100 just before Christmas so there were no discounts applied. On Christmas day when opened we found a relatively small box tightly packed with the player in polystyrene packaging. ...I was working down in Cambridge a few weeks ago and the company thoughtfully pre-booked me accommodation at the Victoria Guest House on Arbury road. Rather more thoughtlessly, I was working at the opposite end of the city, so convenience was not their prime consideration. Arbury Road leads off from the inner ring road and is, in fact, relatively handy for the city centre (the north side, at least). Still, I'm getting paid for sitting in a traffic jam, so what do I care? The guest house occupies two former semi-detached Victorian villas in an area of similar houses. It's a fairly busy road and parking is quite limited. As I said, I was pre-booked so it was only a matter of turning up at the door and introducing myself to the owner who was very welcoming. Advantages: fascinating piece of social history, the intersting guided tours, the beautiful stained glass windows and the mosiac floors
Disadvantages: unlileny to be a success as a working swimming pool due to more modern pools

...So who watched BBC2?s conservation voting program Restoration then? Wasn?t it an interesting fascinating series? Those who watched it will know that Victoria Baths in Manchester was the winner. I know there were complaints that they were not old enough, not worthy of the money or where not a country house but I voted for them . I suppose I am biased as they are about quarter of an hours walk from where I am sitting and they were my local building. However I did not jump on the bandwagon as I had visited them on a quiet open day about a year before Restoration. I revisited them on the day of the final and the place was absolutely mobbed. It is a shame it takes a television program to highlight history. Before then I am sure many people did not really want to know at all.
