Victorinox Swissbit USB flash drive - 512 MB
Advantages: Durable and Well built. Nice Design.
Disadvantages: Doesn't have any Swiss Army Knife accessories
...This is a USB flash drive produced by Victorinox, makers of the Swiss Army knife. The design is basically a USB Swiss Army knife without the knife and accessories. The outer case is made of durable aluminium rather than the more traditional red plastic. The design is nice and much better than a lot of other flash drives, however I think i prefer the more iconic red plastic version.
The USB stick is clear plastic allowing you to see the circuit board inside, while the USB plug is gold coloured. The stick flips out of the case when in use and is held in place by a clip at the keyring end when being carried. A small green LED on the circuit board indicates activity when plugged into a USB port.
The drive is USB 2.0 compatible and I have used it on both PC and Apple Macs with no problems. The manufacturers claim that it will work...

Review of the Victorinox Century Swiss Army Knife
Advantages: Sharp serrated blade, attractive design.
Disadvantages: None that spring to mind.
...I am a little bit sad. You see, I'm a pen knife anorak...
I have four of the things, and use them for camping trips, jobs around the house and those bizarre tasks that pop up from time to time (ever got a lump of chewing gum stuck to your shoe before a meeting?!?) In short - I KNOW about penknives.
Features of the Victorinox Swiss Army Century Swiss Army Knife
Serrated/Straight blade - this is pulled out from the cover by gripping a little groove on the back of the blade. It is made of stainless steel, so it won't rust, and it "locks" when it is in line with the handle. The blade is 4" long and has about 60% serrated edge and 40% straight edge. It is an incredibly sharp blade that cuts just about anything - string...

Big and Small at the Same Time
Advantages: Small, Light, and Easy to Use
Disadvantages: None
...The Swissbit Victorinox 512mb USB drive. A brilliant piece of kit, that I got given as a present, and have used ever since.
The actual item itself is small, smaller than a matchbox, and features, yes, a 512mb USB stick that can fold back inside the case, a small knife, nail filer, scissors, biro (what the...) and LED light, which you can activate by pressing the Victorinox cross inwards.
The device itself is very reliable. The USB stick is small, versatile, and easy to use, however, as of new laws, you have to put the actual knife part into your suitcase when travelling on an aircraft, while the USB part is safe in your pocket.
All in all, a very good piece of kit....

A cut above the rest
Advantages: Stylish, durable, sharp, versatile, last a life time
Disadvantages: Nothing to lock the blades open
...are really indispensable.
The knives are made by a company called Victorinox who originated in Switzerland in 1884 by Charles & Victoria Eisener. They made quality cutlery & in 1891 obtained a contract from the Swiss Army to supply a sturdy soldier's knife. In 1897 Charles Eisener developed a rather elegant officer's knife which was officially registered & became popular throughout the world because of its high quality & versatility.
Today the company offers a huge range of pocket knives including a sportsman knife, waiter's knife, manager's knife, executive's knife, camper's knife, climber's knife, huntsman's knife & the one I have, simply called the ranger's knife.
Most of them are either coloured red or black with the Swiss flag on the body of the knife. They come in all sizes & all have good quality stainless steel blades & are...

One great piece of hardware!
Advantages: Good quality
Disadvantages: Can rust if exposed to salty water
...It's so hard to do a review for this Victorinox Camper Swiss army knife because there are so many very good things to say about it and i just don't know from where to start with this review.
Let's start with the design of this Victorinox Camper Swiss army knife. It's a very simple but very practical design in the traditional colors al Victorinox, red and white. The materials are very good, resist to shocks very well, the colors of the handle will stay there for ever but in time some scratches will appear, that depends of how you use it. I my opinion this is not an heavy duty knife, so don't treat him like one.
The steel used for the blades in, as you expected, very good. Is has the right flexibility and rigidiness so it can be used in many activities. You can sharpen the blades of t his Victorinox Camper Swiss army knife very easy, if...

I wish my wit was as sharp
Advantages: The best set of knives I have owned
Disadvantages: No protective sleeves for the blades
...Why does Delia Smith use such good knives as Victorinox on her television series 'How to cook' and then sell completely different makes on her web site? Not only are the prices on her web site extortionate for knives at £110.00 for a set of three, Victorinox are readily available in the UK. Victorinox are the famous makers of the Swiss army knife and one of the best makes I know of.
Maybe I should explain that I used to be a cook for many years, until ill health forced me to give it up. I used to buy my knives singularly as the better quality knives used to be so expensive. All my old knives have rosewood handles and are still as new. There seems to be a Victorinox knife for every single occasion that you can think of. From Peeling, Paring, and Pastry to Boning, Filleting and Carving. The list is just endless.

No money from this bank!
Advantages: Good Value for money with 11 functions
Disadvantages: Slightly too thick for a wallet
...I have a Victorinox Swiss Card and I have to say that it is the best £14.99 that I have spent for a long time. I use it every day and it never fails to come in handy.
So what is a Swiss Card?
Well it’s the size of a credit card but you wont be able to extract any money with it!
It’s a fabulous invention as it has all the functionality of a Swiss Army Knife but it is in the shape of a credit card that can fit conveniently into your wallet!
I always feel like a bit of a cub scout when I am on the tube, doing my embroidery and I get out the scissors from my Swiss Card to cut the thread. Everyone looks at me and are probably thinking either: “That is very nifty, I wish I had one”, or “She is a very square train spotter!”
So let me tell you about it in a little more detail. The Swiss Card is...

Often imitated, seldom equalled
Advantages: A tool for almost everything
Disadvantages: Can't take them on a plane in hand luggage
...Ask a hundred people to name five things made in Switzerland, and in almost every list will be the 'Swiss Army Knife'.
Along with 'HOOVER' 'JCB' 'IBM PC' 'FILOFAX' and 'COKE' - the 'Swiss army knife' is almost a generic term - except of course, there's only one company that makes the 'real' item.
Victorinox is a Swiss company, formed in 1884, and ever since, has produced high quality pocket knives which are both practical and versatile.
Their reputation is based almost entirely on the reliability of the product - one 'blade' often offers a number of functions (screwdriver, can opener and wire stripper for example), but above all, they don't break, unless subject to the most inconsiderate abuse.
Part of the secret is that there isn't just one product - a quick check of the company site reveals 100 different pocket knives...
