Vidal Sassoon VS880, my worst buy of 2007
Advantages: look quite stylish
Disadvantages: poor heat levels, vibrates, doesn't straighten hair
...A change in hairstyle and a move away from the stereotypical Cypriot curly hair means that I now have to straighten my hair on a daily basis otherwise I start to look like I've been dragged through a hedgerow backwards by my head. On the recommendation of my stylist I purchased a set of Vidal Sassoon VS880 hair straighteners from the salon for £24.99 to keep my hair looking like it had just been styled.
I had no reservations making the purchase as my stylist had used the same make and model when it was originally styled and having heard bad things about the unreliability of GHD hair straighteners I happily left thinking I had a bargain. I have since found this make and model for as low as £12.99 online and can understand why. Vidal Sassoon Straightener.
Advantages: Easy to use
Disadvantages: No different temperature settings
...The Vidal Sassoon VS 5311 hair straightener is a straightener which has hugely benefited fromt he latest technology. Vidal Sassoon are a very well-known and highly respected brand for making straighteners, hair dryers, blow dryers, curling tongs and many more. The straighteners are a classic and simple design but are still excellent for straightening your hair with. The colour of them also helps them to keep the heat in as they are black and black absorbs heat. It has a logn wire which makes it convenient to use as you don't have to be near the socket all the time. It does not have different temperature settings but it does reach a high temperature in a short period of time which makes it easy to use for everyone....

Vidal Sassoon: a mans view
Advantages: 3 temps and cool jet, lightweight, cheap, isn't noisy
Disadvantages: it's 20 quid that could be spent down the pub
...A man who owns his own hairdryer? Yes ladies I have my own now stop laughing and embrace the age of equality and listen to my words of wisdom that will helpfully and with skill guide you through the minefield of hairdryer purchasing. I didn't buy my Vidal Sassoon VS536BD hairdryer because of the recommendation of a friend it was purchased because it was just so darn cheap and in the world of man, every penny saved is a penny that can be put towards a further pint of alcoholic beverage when down at that social cauldron we call the boozer.
At £19.99 I couldn't ask for more from a hairdryer, it has the ability to blast the skin from my face with force in varying temperatures and looks so good I don't have to hide it away should friends decide they want to venture into my house. Those who have seen it comment on how it nearly looks manly...

...I'd been shopping round for some new hair care products as presents for my twelve year old daughter. She was very keen on GHD but they are way over-priced and the reviews I've read on their performance are mediocre.
So I got her some Toni & Guy straighteners and then came across the Vidal Sassoon Hair Hydration Hair Dryer. Now initially I was surprised as I thought the whole point was to dry and not hydrate the hair and I also had connotations of having to put water in the device; and we all know that electricity and water generally do not mix!
My fears were soon allayed when I discovered that the 'hydration' is achieved by the hairdryer mixing negative charged ions with the warm air stream which not only aids faster drying but also helps retain the hair's natural moisture, leaving it feeling soft and smooth and looking naturally...

Vidal Sassoon Microcrystal Straighteners
Advantages: AMAZING! Low price, digital, lasting effect
Disadvantages: None!
...I've been in need of some new straighteners for months but I just couldn't justify spending over £100 on GHD's, no matter how good they are.
But then I found the amazing Vidal Sassoon Microcrystal Straigheners.
They are just as good as GHD and less than half the price! They make my hair super straight and shiny and it lasts all day, even if I put my hair up for a while, when I take it down it is STILL straight. It's even pretty straight when I sleep on it.
My hair is quite frizzy but these take away all the frizz and just leave it super sleek and shiny :)
Another fab thing about them is that they are digital, you can control the temperature and the temperature is shown on a little screen. Neat huh?
And they are a lovely pinky purple colour so very girly :)
Also they have a swivel chord so no more getting tangled up...

Sleek n Sexy with Sassoon

I purchased this conditioner a month ago from TJ Hughes in Sheffield. It was actually Iv who saw it.
He said: "Do you want to try some of this?"
Me: "Vidal Sassoon? Doubt it, thats usually dear stuff"
Him: "What £1.99 dear for this massive bottle, you're getting tight in your old age!"

Vidal Sassoon Dryer Blows Frizz Away....

...This hairdryer from Vidal Sassoonn is a life-saver.
The last time i used it was yesterday evening when i was going to a friend's party. I had just come out of the shower and was panicking because i only had about an hour to get ready. normally, my hair is a nightmare as it gets frizzy and uncontrollable when it has been washed.
I used this hairdryer and my hair was dry and sleek in about 5-10 minutes. Unlike other hairdryers, it does not frizz my hair claiming to give it "volume". This made straightening it a breeze.
The dryer has a number of different temperature settings also with a cool shot. This means that it is easy for anyone to sue as it adjusts to your hair type.
I would definitely recommend this to people who have to get ready in a rush and teen girls as it is a real life-saver because it makes drying the hair so easy...

...About a year ago I got a package in the post. It contained Vidal Sassoon Classic Daily Therapy conditioner.
The bottle looks very elegant. It has the VS and Sassoon logo on the front, in an attractive silver. Near the bottom a band with the words, classic daily therapy. The one that came in the mail is for normal hair. An 8.1 fl oz (240ml) full size bottle. How lucky can a girl get. Checking out the price I found it to retail at around $6.99 (£4.50).
I style my hair in a French pleat, and tend to back comb/tease it to get volume and height. Then when I wash it, it tends to get matted. Even with a second wash. ...I received a 2-ounce bottle of Vidal Sasson Moisturizing Hair Wash and was very anxious to try it. It is for dry, thirsty or damaged hair and since my hair is color treated, I will often use that type of shampoo. I was very anxious to use it because I am a $.99 Suave fan. The price of an 8.5 fluid ounce bottle of Vidal Sasson is around $5.00.
About the product and how to use it:
~The full-sized bottle comes in a pump style bottle. Lately I haven?t had a lot of luck with pump style products. They either stick in the lock mode, won?t pump when there is just a little product left and unless they lock really well, they are hard to travel with.
~ Since it is for dry, thirsty, damaged hair I was hoping it would ?replenish natural moisture.?
~ This is the first shampoo that I have used that suggests rinsing with cool water...
