...want sensational hair? this vidal sassoon hair dryer is great. it has a wattage of 2000. also there are 3 heat settings and 3 speed settings making drying your hair easier. another wonderful gadget is the cool shot which you press and cold air comes out straight away!!!!!!!!!! it comes with a rounded brush, a comb, 3 claps and a nozzle to attach to the end for salon beautiful hair. the wire is long so you can move about which is very helpful. it leaves your hair completely dry and healthy looking. it is a pistol grip hairdryerbut it comes without a diffuser. it is great value for money and i have had this hair dryer for about 1 and a 1/2 years and it is still working perfectly. i would recommend you buy this !!!!!!!!!!!... ...I've been in need of some new straighteners for months but I just couldn't justify spending over £100 on GHD's, no matter how good they are. But then I found the amazing Vidal Sassoon Microcrystal Straigheners. They are just as good as GHD and less than half the price! They make my hair super straight and shiny and it lasts all day, even if I put my hair up for a while, when I take it down it is STILL straight. It's even pretty straight when I sleep on it. My hair is quite frizzy but these take away all the frizz and just leave it super sleek and shiny :) Another fab thing about them is that they are digital, you can control the temperature and the temperature is shown on a little screen. ...I was given these straighteners to replace some GHD's. They sounded really good with a 3m cord, on/off switch, indicator light, fast heat-up, variable heat settings and ceramic plates. I also liked the slim design and black colour. However, I was disappointed with the result. Whereas my old GHD's got really hot and straightened my hair instantly, these Vidal Sassoon straighteners did not feel as hot, even on the highest setting. I had to use them on each section of hair a number of times to achieve the desired result, and my hair is naturally quite straight so I wasn't asking too much of them! I would recommend these straighteners if your hair is not particularly wavy to start with, and you are looking for a mid-priced model. However, if you want the best result that is available then these are not for you.... Read review

...I've had these straightners for just under a year now. I have really long, thick, curly and static hair. The vs046 straightners arent ideal for my hair. No matter how long i straighten for, it doesnt make my hair poker straight. And When it is straight, it never lasts more than 10 minutes. They take a long time to heat up, and the maximum temperature is meant to be 210, but they arent very hot. Recently i've had my hair cut and they work a little bit better because it's thinner, but before it took about 30 minutes to get my hair straight, and then it didnt last. My hair often gets caught in the grooves on the edges of the heat plates. Some good things about it are that it doesnt make your hair frizzy, the long cable makes it easy to use and they look really good (PINK!!!!!!!)... Read review

Yes ladies I have my own now stop laughing and embrace the age of equality and listen to my words of wisdom that will helpfully and with skill guide you through the minefield of hairdryer purchasing. I didn't buy my Vidal Sassoon VS536BD hairdryer because of the recommendation of a friend it was purchased because it was just so darn cheap and in the world of man, every penny saved is a penny that can be put towards a further pint of alcoholic beverage when down at that social cauldron we call the boozer. At £19.99 I couldn't ask for more from a hairdryer, it has the ability to blast the skin from my face with force in varying temperatures and looks so good I don't have to hide it away should friends decide they want to venture into my house. ...When my first GHD straighteners unexpectedly broke after only 1 year of use I was completely at a loss. I didn't want to shell out another £100 for straighteners which wouldn't last so I rushed to Argos to see what I could find. As one of the cheapest straighteners of the time (around £30) and a well known name I decided to opt for the Vidal Sassoon straighteners. At first I was a bit weary as they seemed more 'gritty' than my GHD's and didn't run so smoothly over my hair, but I eventually got used to this and fell in love with my new straighteners and couldn't see how they were any worse than my first GHD's. These have a Temperature Setting which you can turn to adjust the Temperature, and come with a booklet guide to the temperatures to hair type, which I found very useful as it has around 25 temperatures. ...About a year ago I got a package in the post. It contained Vidal Sassoon Classic Daily Therapy conditioner. The bottle looks very elegant. It has the VS and Sassoon logo on the front, in an attractive silver. Near the bottom a band with the words, classic daily therapy. The one that came in the mail is for normal hair. An 8.1 fl oz (240ml) full size bottle. How lucky can a girl get. Checking out the price I found it to retail at around $6.99 (£4.50). I style my hair in a French pleat, and tend to back comb/tease it to get volume and height. Then when I wash it, it tends to get matted. Even with a second wash. I have tried many conditioners in the past, and this problem still occurred. However, Vidal Sassoon's product worked great for me.
