...want it! We bought a budget surround system to go with it. We don't use the small surround speakers anymore, we've found its better to utilise the TV's built in speakers and connect the bass box from our surround system to the TV, enhancing the body and volume of the sound. Giving a more evenly distributed and more sonically pleasing experience. Recommend? Definitely If I had £2000 would I buy a better TV? Of course I would Then why 4 stars? Because for the amount this TV can do it costs absolutely nothing and it is absolutely perfect for us. But why 4 and not 5 stars? Because most people buy TVs to watch TV - unlike us. ...played a game called Halo, which needs fast rendering in order for full enjoyment and this monitor did not let me down, the refresh rate was incredible, the graphics themselves were, out of this world, Halo is a bit of a gore game and the detail and colours, were just simply almost realistic like, and has put all my other monitor purchases to shame. Graphics and rendering get a 10/10. I have listed below some of the technical features, so you don't have to search, these are, which I feel most important, you don't have to read further, these are just for reference only. I have had a few of view sonic products and this has to be far the best, I would defiantly recommend purchase, overall the ease of use, the graphics and the colours, not mentioning the use of links to your TV and video etc... ..., and you will be playing this game for ages and ages. The thing is, who will you pick, Sonic, or Knuckles. Knuckles has the ability to climb up walls, and the ability to glide, but Sonic, has the advantage of speed, higher jump, and to use the full ability of the magic you get from those mini tv things. Those mini tv things, you can get abilitys, and coins from, even the protection stars, and you can get lives from these, but the best way to get lives is to get over 100 rings, you can get loads that way, especially on those casino levels, you can get infinate lives. The game is good, when you equip it with Sonic 2, or Sonic 3, because it makes them game better, as Knuckles is able to play it, but Sonic and Knuckles game on its own, is also great, so get it for all the reasons. ...This is my first flat-screen TV, and I was very impressed with the quality. It was bought to accommodate the new Sky HD package, and the color quality is superb. The black-level performance is excellent for an LCD television, which is one of this televisions strongest points. The 120Hz processing of the television smooths out any motion problems that some TVs have. For an LCD, the screen uniformity and off-angle viewing is outstanding. Other good points include the numerous picture controls, and the solid connectivity with three HDMI inputs and one PC input. The design of this television is very good also, and it will fit nicely into any living room style that you have. The distinctive 'floating glass' style is ultra-modern and will set this apart from other TV designs. However, on the down side, this TV has a couple of bad points too... Read review

...For the price of this TV, it is not that bad, you cant go wrong for £450, the original was £400, so this TV is very cheap and also 32inches. Also the TV is wall mountable and the brackets are supplied, wall mounting the unit was very easy and anyone can do it, if you follow the instructions.Looks very good and quite attractive, may seem plastic looking but it s not bad. Really good to look at when its off, and may make a few neighbours jealous. After viewing a DVD on the TV i was very impressed by it, quality looked great and same with the sound. Overall the TV is worth it, simply for the price, although it maybe useful hanging on and going for a more reputable brand such as: Toshiba or Panasonic.... Read review

...I needed a new TV to replace my prehistoric 12" tube. I wanted a LCD TV that is HD ready and has a component input for the Xbox 360 I ordered. My first choice was one of the advertised stylish Samsungs but I had to wait indefinitely to get one so I selected this TV instead from Empiredirect at £600 (Jan. 06). Setup up was straight-forward apart from working out how to dismantle the cable-tidy at the back and noticing that the plug lead doesn't go where the other leads go. Once you work out the layout of the back of the TV (help is found at the very back of the manual), Channel setup is automatic as you'd expect from a new TV. There are plenty of connections too although there isn't a HDMI connection (high definition equivalent of scart). The picture quality is adequate for general viewing through an analogue aerial. There are hardly any disadvantages to mention. The only one I have noticed is the remote can be a little tricky to understand.
