The Geeks back...... 19" TFT by Viewsonic VX922

Advantages: Screen Size, Features, Design / Finish, Quality, 2ms for Gaming !!
Disadvantages: None found so far

...going to have to pay for it. It was looking like it was going to cost me the best part of £300. This was actually a little over the budget that I had set for a new screen. I found a couple of 'decent' screens, which were in budget but they were either 15" or 17". I really wanted a 19" screen. I then came across the Viewsonic VX922 - quite by co-incidence after receiving an eMail from an online store that I use quite a lot for components etc, and my luck was in, they were having a sale on TFT screens. After reading a couple of reviews on the screen, I decided to give it a blast. I phoned, and ordered the screen, and was actually told that I was lucky, they had just that day received in a new shipment, and they were selling fast. Apparently their last shipment lasted 3 days, they sold nearly 1000 of them !!!! I waited...

Adele 19

Advantages: Different styles, some sad, others you feel sorry for the woman sufferung
Disadvantages: Maybe not to everyone taste

...When I first got this album, after the strengths of Chasing Pavements, I decided to purchase this album. I like Amy Winehouse, but not looking good for her. Adele is different in the way she sings, you wouldn't think she was only 19. Her voice sounds Soulful/Jazz going to acoustic and pop. The lyrics are very poignant, in the way that it's way it's sung. Can you count to 19?

Advantages: Rolls along after a slow start, big scope and scale
Disadvantages: The slow start and the fact that I did not really like the characters enough to care about them

The monitor itself is a slim stylish bezel design without taking up valuable desk space... The high neck and floating head design accentuate the visual experience, although you can also but a wall of desk ark to completely remove the monitor from the desk fact. The design gets a 10/10. Viewsonic VA915 monitor

Advantages: Great contrast, excellent picture, anti-glare
Disadvantages: Can lose conection about 3 times a year

...monitor to a 19-inch VA915 LCD display. I know Viewsonic are a decent company as I have had some products from them before and haven't had any problems with them. Therefore before I even got my hands on the monitor I had faith that my Viewsonic VA915 monitor would last me a while, as long as it was good overall. Well when I first got the box with the monitor in I must comment on the fact it was well packaged wrapped up so it looked like it was very durable no matter how rough the postal service may be with it. When getting the monitor it came with the monitor itself obviously, it had all the necessary wires that are needed to connect to a CPU, installation CD and instruction booklet. The instruction booklet came in a lot of languages, even some I didn't have a clue what they were which shows to me that Viewsonic are confident about...

...To begin this monitor was worth the price. After plugging it in, it was recognized immediately and all I had to do insert the disc and install the drivers which was super easy and fast.. I bought it for my gaming so I expected perfect quality and fast response times so my picture was not lagged at all. This monitor offers 5ms response which basically is nothing. Once I had set it up by adjusting resolution and contrasts etc, it was looking stunning. I had to go try out a game on it. Once I had opened the game I was stunned. The contrast ration was amazing and the game came to life. Colours where so vibrant and realistic looking. When looking at a still image form a digital camera it couldn't be better. They look absolutely amazing- as if you are where the photographer is. The 19 inch screen is huge and is excellent for watching...

Advantages: Quality 19" Monitor which is Bright, Sharp with Colourful images, 2ms Response Time
Disadvantages: A bit more expenisve than your average monitor, but worth it!

...Took me a while to decide to take the plunge from my beloved 17" Dell CRT, Which through the 3 years, besides its huge rear-end never warranted a reason to be replaced. But me being a gadget freak and my friends wondering why I still used a CRT decided now is the time. I again before buying anything researched thoroughly on the internet to be sure I'm spending my money wisely and compared to my friends had the best TFT available within a reasonable price bracket. TFT's have come along way since I last remembered and are competing with CRTs with performance and cost. I first found the ViewSonic vx924 (not the vx922 which this model is) and was blown away when I saw it in the show room, looked a remarkable product of great quality and performance, even the guy at the showroom said he owned this model and its never let him down...

...If you're looking for a cheap - yet high quality HD TV, then look no further than the Viewsonic N2060w. It comes at a price of around, £300-£350 (depends where you buy it from), comes with one scart slot, a HD component cable input, HDMI and a PC station socket (can be used as a PC screen). The sound on the TV is quite amazing, it doesn't need to be on a high volume for it to be heard clearly. The on screen menu is fairly easy to navigate, up and down to move up and down, and ok to select the option you want - quite simple. The quality of the tv is very good for the price, it even challenges the quality of tv's in the £500 price bracket. The only drawback for me is the lack of remote codes for the tv (sky, telewest etc.), and the lack of scart slots....

...I was looking for a new cheap monitor to use a second monitor with my laptop, after searching several sites i came across the 17" Viewsonic VA702, for the money it seemed like a good buy so i took the risk and ordered one. I picked this monitor up for £116 from www.savastore.com Initial impressions were good on opening the box and removing the monitor. Its looks are comparable with much more expensive monitors and it looks well put together. Also included was a monitor cable and power cable. The color and viewing angle are much better than i had expected for the price i paid, and it takes up little space on the desk. The only disadvantages i could see where lack of DVI support, although this wasn't an issue for me as i didn't need it. Also the monitor can also blur a bit during fast movie scenes but this is to be expected...

...This is my review for the View Sonic VA703b. I have been using this monitor now for close to 2 years and I have no problems with it. Instead of just being compatible with VGA it also works with the new(ish) DVI at the same time. It is an alright 17". This is OK if you want it for office work but if you want it for games, videos and pictures it is good but you would be better off with a 19" or bigger. I do play games on it and it still works quite well. What is more important to games is the reaction time. It has really good reaction time and this is the reason why I got it. At a very low 8ms (mili seconds) it just gives a clear image every time. I delighted to find out that it is compatible with vista.
