It has a glossy, expensive looking cover, with a model clutching a bottle of champagne, its title and author splashed across the middle of the cover in bold, gold lettering. It looks to be a glamorous, sexy read, and it does indeed deliver on its promises - and a little extra something added in there too. Vintage VRS100 - Blue

Advantages: The Wilkinson hardware. The playability. Good value.
Disadvantages: The blue finish hides the flamed maple veneer. Tone+Volume knobs. Serial number format.

...Vintage VRS100 Well first off I paid £150 for this. Ex-demo, so not new, not second hand, think in-between the two. This is a PRS copy and Vintage have pretty much nailed the body shape! It's a Double-cut. Vintage says the VRS means "Vintage Rock Series". The finish I chose for this guitar was the "through blue". A very dark blue finish on the front with a lighter greeny-blue on the back and neck. This finish is semi transparent (you can see the wood). Through blue is now a discontinued colour. For the body 3 pieces of Eastern poplar have been used. A bookmatched flamed maple veneer is glued on top. The top of the guitar is carved while the back is contoured for comfort. The neck is nice and chunky set neck and is made up of 2 pieces of maple with a 1 piece rosewood fingerboard. Upon the fretboard are 24 medium frets...

Don't eat the vintage buttons!!

The button?s come in a pink box with a lovely pattern design on the box. On the flap to the side of the box it tells you that they researched old buttons from the 1700s, 1800s and early 1900s and became so absorbed that they decided to do their own collection. You get a total of 18 antique buttons in a box which are cast in 70% cocoa dark chocolate. The box is 100g and it cost?s £6.00. On the back of the box you will find a list of ingredients and their contact details as well as a picture of the buttons which you get inside the box as well. ...Around christmas time I decided it was time for a new guitar. So that's what I got. My mum and I spent a lot of time on the internet researching different guitars to fond the sort of thing I wanted, which at the time was a slightly downsized acoustic guitar. Advantages: Some really good tracks
Disadvantages: Some are "so-so"

...Vintage Jazz Volume 4 is another of my all-time favourite jazz CDs, as it does exactly what it sys on the label, it IE.. it contain some really fine examples of some of the best classic jazz. Coleman Hawkins as his All Star Jam Band, featuring every example of the best jazz instruments, guitar, drums, clarinet, all performing together as one on Honeysuckle Rose. And please note the use of the word "jam" in the name of the band. As they say, there really is nothing new under the sun! The next track is also by Coleman Hawkins and His All Star Jam Band, but is a totally different style of jazz as they give a rip-roaring, jumping version of Sweet Georgia Brown. A Classic Case of Trying TOO Hard

It should have been 'all white on the night' but it wasn't In October this year I had the opportunity to stay in Brussels and my colleague suggested The White Hotel on Avenue Louise so I booked a room. We went out for dinner after our work was done for the day and then he took me to the hotel to drop me off. Luckily for me, he decided to stick around and check that everything was OK rather than just drop me and run. The receptionist was in a bad way and explained that she was "really really really sorry" but the torrential rains of that evening had caused leaks in part of the hotel and my room wasn't available because there was water coming through the ceiling. However, she'd phoned around and arranged for a room at another hotel that she really hoped I would like. The hotel was the Vintage Hotel and it was less than a mile away...

Yeah, vintage like a 2003 chardonnay

Advantages: It's cheesy
Disadvantages: Not strong enough!

...Ew ew ew ew ew. Okay, so it's cheese. It's cheddar cheese. Fine, I'll accept that. That's what it says on the label, after all. But strong it ain't. I love a really good cheddar cheese and it's unfortunate that it's so tough to actually buy one. All these cheese companies keep coming out with "vintage" and "super strong" brands, but they're mostly a huge steaming pile of curds and whey. Our cheese selection in this country pretty much sucks. The cheese we import from the continent is generally inferior and we export all our good stuff. It's a sad fact, but the best stilton I have ever had was in Europe - and it was made in England! The manufacturers and importers don't seem to have grasped the fact that the British palatte is maturing rapidly - unlike the cheese they fob us off with! Gaaaaaaaah! Ahem, back to the point...
