Advantages: unbelivably sexy and beautiful, wonderful internet and video / music
Disadvantages: needs a couple of firmware updates to become the perfect phone

I used ZiPhone to unlock mine from AT&T in the US for use in Ireland. Out of the box the iPhone is intruative (It has to be as a Manual is not included in the box). The box included a small quick start guide, a headset and the various connectors. Set up with iTune is a breeze even for a newbie. The Home Screen on the iPhone differs from most WIndows based Smart devices as a simple press closes the running program down. ...So I managed to get my hands on an iPhone, and in true Geek style wanted to bring you my first thoughts on the must-have-phone from Apple. Being so keen to bring you the details, you are getting this even before I have had time to take photos of the iPhone. This is the first Apple product that I have ever had that hasn't had photos taken first in its virgin, fingerprint free state. That should give you some idea of how excited I was after opening it. The iPhone form factor is superb, in fact a lot slimmer than I had expected. The actual screen real estate makes it comparable to the sleeker PDA's available today. Advantages: Touchscreen, easy to use

...Previously had a Samsung, loved it's simplicity and the fact it was flawless. Everything worked, easy to use yet still up to date with technology However, I recently lost the it and was given an iPhone, this phone is way 'cooler' than any phone I have ever had. Apple are taking technology in mobile phones way further than other brands I feel, ok there are flaws but where there are flaws there are exceptions with other cool gadgets that have made me completely forget about comparing it to my previous mobiles. The iPhone Masterpiece

Advantages: Visual beauty, ipod perfection, photo demon, movies screen, internet anywhere! PERFECT!
Disadvantages: cost and network locking (easily overcome) and ringtones (overcome aswell)

...This is the pinacle of phone, music player, video player technology. I can not believe how much stuff is wrapped into this beautiful device. okay first, there is the look. Now i doubt you will be able to find anyone who doesnt think this phone is gorgeous. It has an overall of 4 buttons and a switch. 1 for the home screen, 2 for sound, 1 for on and off and the switch to mute sound. The rest is controlled by your fingers on the 3.5" touch screen. Advantages: Modern technology, amount of software and number of devices.
Disadvantages: No protective case.

iPhone 3G. What a phone!!!!!!

Advantages: Stylish, fast, too many applications and uses to name!!
Disadvantages: poor battery life on some applications, camera isnt great, no video.

Advantages: applications for everything, really intelligent and attractive phone
Disadvantages: the really good applications can be quite expensive, battery needs charged more often
