The Power of Vitamin C!

Advantages: Wholesome ingredients

...I was lucky enough to win a competition, and won a hamper of Body Shop products, which included SPF 15 Vitamin C Moisturiser. I wouldn't normally buy this product, as it is a bit dear for me - my usual limit is about £5 for a product, but I think this is about £9 for a tube. As it was a bit more expensive, I had high hopes! It comes in a bright orange tube - which suits the product perfectly, as it immediately made me think of freshly squeezed oranges - and vitamin C. The tube is a squeezy tube - like toothpaste - but with a screw top cap - which I think is a bit better than the pump-action bottles than many moisturisers come in (I never manage to get the dregs out of those!). The vitamin C range of skincare all comes in orange bottles/jars etc - which is good - as they are colour coded, it's easy to find them in the shop...

Vitamin C face polish

...I was beginning to find my skin feeling a bit dry and not as clear as I would like, but all that was gone after I used this excellent cleanser/ exfoliator. All you have to do is gently massage on to your face and the small microdremabrasion beads will leave your skin feeling smooth and looking great. I also found that my skin felt much more hydrated, the product was also very gentle which was great as I sometimes find that exfoliators can leave my skin feeling irritated and sore. Not only does the product feel great to use, but it also smells really nice. Costing around £12 which is not bad for a quality exfoliator, it is good value for money as it lasts for a fairly long period of time. I have to say I never fail to take a vitamin c tablet every day especially in the winter time.It used to be I got loads of colds and sore throats but then one day a friend in work said do you ever take vitamin c tablets,I said I used to years ago when I was younger but I got out of the habit. And ok it wasnt a friend it was an aquaintance.... That was a year ago nearly,I went to the local Boots shop and considered whether to buy the disolveable tablets or the ones you chew,I picked the ones the chew,They are nice tasteing and only cost about £3 for 2 months supply.Only get the 500gm pack its the only dosage you need for your daily intake. I was a bit worried when I read last week that there was a link between Vitamin C and Cancer but sure isnt there a link between anything now...

I needed a good face scrub to get rid of dead skin so my moisturiser was working at its best. Ive used body shop products for years and find their vitamin c face mask excellent, so decided to try this. Fisrt time i used it I loved the thick texture of lots of small particles and the fab zesty scent! It also left my skin quite soft and my moisturiser went in really well afterwards. I have sensitive skin and got no rash or reaction!
