Fox's Echos...A lovely chocolaty treat!

Advantages: CHOCOLATE
Disadvantages: None i dont think...apart from the fact they probably arn't the healthiest things!

...I remember my first experience with one of these. It was about 5 years ago when i was 9. Dont get me wrong, i was never deprived of chocolate or a treat when i was little and my mum was forever buying me chocolate treats while out at the shops. But never had she bought these, we usually had the same things week in week out, kit kats etc. So one day i was at my friends house we were offered a biscuit, i happily accepted. I was handed a FOX'S ECHO. I had no clue what it was but i thouroughly enjoyed it. I remember enjoying it very much, but up until a couple of weeks ago i hadnt seen a pack of these in my shops. So as i was helping out with the shopping and spotted i ECHOs i pleaded with my mum to let me put them in the trolley and thank goodness she let me.. The packaging was just as i had rememberd, a blue paperish feeling wrapper...

I used my two week free trial with this company and remained with them for a couple of monthsbefore moving on to try many other companies free trials (and winning a new DVD player on Tesco DVD rental site on their free trial offer). The Fox and the Hound = Classic

There is a small reference to a previous Disney animation, Robin Hood, when watching the seven quail chicks crossing in front of them, Vixey counts them and mentions that 'I think six would be just right', she was referring to fox kits but she does so so subtly that Tod is confused. In Robin Hood, whilst fighting against the guards Robin tells Maid Marian that they would have six children. In both cases, the couples are foxes, only in Robin Hood they are anthropomorphised. ? In Fox hunting, the fox is called a 'Tod.' Widow Tweed names Tod, however, saying that he is "a toddler." ? Hunting Out A Fox

Advantages: Great characters, interesting, great author
Disadvantages: Over-complex, not as good as other Walters books

...Minette Walters is one of my favourite authors. I have read about six of her novels so far and intend to read all she has published. I find her books interesting, exciting and they aren't too similar to each other either. I also like the way she often punctuates her chapters of text with 'evidence' in the form of letters, text messages, news reports and so on. One of the best books I read in 2007 was Acid Row by Minette Walters and I decided to begin 2008 with another of her novels - Fox Evil. A weighty paperback of 557 pages, I looked forward to getting engrossed in another thrilling story. Early on in the book though, I realised it hadn't gripped me as much as a Minette Walters normally does. I think the problem was that it was all a bit complicated and confusing. Surprising Picture Quality - Panasonic DVD-S54

Advantages: Incredible picture quality when compared to my old non-upscaling player with a scart lead
Disadvantages: Sometimes disc drive can be really noisy when DVD's initially load.

...At first I wasn't convinced by up-scaling DVD player technology but was persuaded after reading an article in "What Hi-Fi? Sound and Vision" magazine. Unable to afford a Blu-Ray player my sister and I bought the Panasonic DVD-S54 to match our parents brand new Panasonic TX-32LZD80 LCD television as their Christmas 2008 present. Admittedly it was a slightly selfish purchase as we both live at home and wanted to watch DVDs on the big new TV ourselves! We bought the player from the electrical retailer Comet for about £100 just before Christmas so there were no discounts applied. On Christmas day when opened we found a relatively small box tightly packed with the player in polystyrene packaging. Fox in Socks

...A few weeks ago my nephews and niece came to sleep at my house, my youngest nephew wanted me to read a story before he went to bed and Fox in Socks by Dr Seuss was the one he picked. I gave him a choice of Dr Seuss books but he chose this one, as he'd never heard it before. Dr Seuss (pseudonym of Theodor Seuss Geisel) was born on 2nd March 1904 and died on 24th September 1991. During his lifetime he wrote nearly 50 children's books. He was probably most famous for The Cat in the Hat, which has also been made into a film. The whole book is written in rhyme which I think makes it more enjoyable for the children listening. The general story line is Mr Fox is trying to get Mr Knox to lots of different tongue twisters but poor Mr Knox just cannot get his tongue around them (I don't blame him - I found some of them pretty difficult...
