Yet another camera review. I have had so many cameras in my time but this particular camera is my girlfriends and what a camera it is. She purchased this camera about a year ago and has been using it since. The reason that I am writing a review about this camera is because I have used it more than her and I seem to know all of the ins and outs of the camera so I thought why not write a review and see what other people think about and maybe persuade some other people to buy the camera.
Upon purchasing the camera I did lots of research for her as she would have gone and bought any old thing and would have regretted what she bought. Anyway after doing lots of research in the shops and also on the internet I came to the conclusion that it would be best if...

Review of VivitarViviCam 4345
Advantages: Good for pictures Disadvantages: The poor battery life
...This review is for the VivitarVivicam X325 digital camera.
Setup
---------
Setup is extremely easy for this camera; you first have to make sure you put in the batteries they include which are just cheap everyday value batteries inside the camera. You then have to make sure you have got the disc loaded onto the computer; the reason for this is because without the software loaded on it becomes really difficult to alter the pictures you take using this camera.
Once you have done both of these simple steps you then can have a play around taking pictures in any way you feel like.
Design
----------
This camera has a really nice overall design. The front of the camera is grey like the entire camera is and has this metallic look to it which has a nice clean shine which makes the camera look very interesting.
You have the camera lens...

Review of VivitarViviCam X325
Advantages: Affordable, easy to use, Disadvantages: Needs to have SD memory card for regular use
...I went on a mission to find a reasonable privced digital camera and found the VivitarViviCam 5388. On first glance I thought that it would not be very good, how wrong I was.
This is a small lightweight camera only weighing 116g. It is easy to use and has quite a lot of features.
It has two exposure modes programme and auto. It has white balance presets for flourescent, cloudy , tungsten, light and daylight.
It takes and stores your photos as JPEG images. It has an intergrated memory of 16MB, which although small can be increased by adding a SD memory card.
It has built in flash and built in red eye reduction. Also it has a self timer mode.
The screen is a 2.4" colourscreen with LCD display and TFT matrix.
Additional items included with the camera are 1x USB lead, 1x DC Power input lead, 1x Composite video output. Also included...

Review of VivitarViviCam 5388
Advantages: Great value for money, amazing functionality, countless modes and features, 10.1MP!! Disadvantages: Battery wears down fast if used very frequently
...After scouring the Argos catalogue for weeks, I finally settled on the VivitarVivicam X30, and I am so glad I did! I was dubious at first, as I can imagine some people would be, but I eventually bought it, and I wouldn?t be without it now!
The description of it sounds quite amazing: 10.1MP, 3X Super Zoom, 2.5? LCD Monitor, Video Functionality, not to mention the countless modes and settings. All this for just under £200? Quite hard to believe, as for a slightly higher price, you could get a Sony Cybershot with only half the megapixel capabilities of the Vivitar. Ok, it?s not exactly an SLR, but for a digital camera, it?s the best I?ve seen so far!
The part that shocked and attracted me most was the 10.1MP, as I had never seen a camera with such a high megapixel value for that price. I thought it could be one of those products that...

Review of VivitarVIVICAM X30
...I bought my Vivitarvivicam 3826 a couple of weeks ago and is perfect because I only wanted a basic one. It's got a 2304x1728 resolution, 4.0 megapixel, 1.5" LCD display, auto flash sensor, optical zoom 3x, digital zoom 6x. You can use the camera's memory, or you can use a SD card. In addition to still images you can record short videos using the movie function. IT also have a self timer, and you can use it in manual mode, automatic, macro( close ups), landscape, night scene, sports, and movie mode. The pictures are easy to transfer, I am using my printer to do it, the USB cable comes in the box. It is easy to set up and I recommend it for being a very good value for money....
Advantages: Cheap, easy to use, looks stylish Disadvantages: The battery life
...I consider myself to an amateur photographer, only using a camera for special occasions and holidays. When I do take photos, I take hundreds. (On my trip to New York I got through a roll of film a day!) This can be quite costly, so last Christmas I decided to hop on board the digital camera revolution. I did my research and decided to go for a camera with at least 4m pixels, optical zoom, that was under £100. I had considered the likes of Kodak and Cannon, however the less well known brand Vivitar had the same spec at a much lower cost. At this time, the VivitarVivicam 3826 was the camera that fitted my specification perfectly, so I popped along to my local Index and bought the camera (£89.00 December 04). I have not seen the camera anywhere else, however, the Vivitar website has a list of all stockists.

Review of VivitarViviCam 3826
Advantages: Superb pics and price. Disadvantages: Haven't found any
...My old digital camera had served its purpose well, but being only a 3 Mega pixel was now somewhat out dated. So I was on the lookout for a cheap good camera. I had planned on getting at least 5 mega pixels because I do feel that is this techno age a 5 Mega pixel is the least you need. For those uneducated in the terminology let me simplify it for you. Basically the higher the mega pixel value of the camera the better quality of picture you will get. A 3 mega pixel will produce 3 million dots to get the picture whilst a 5 mega pixels will produce........................yep you got it 5 million dots in the same area therefore there will be far more detail.
I'm reasonably techno minded but no over so so I did require a camera which would be simplicity in itself to operate, and low and behold I found it. The Vivitar 5385 met all...

Review of VivitarViviCam 5385
Advantages: small, fits neatly into the pocket, great quality for the price Disadvantages: no conventional view-finder
...I had nearly £40 worth of Amazon vouchers built up from my on-line activities with various Internet affiliate programs I belong to. And when I had one of their promotion e-mails I thought it was about time I used some of them up. I was particularly attracted to the Vivitar 6324 digital camera. I noticed it was 6MP, 3 times optical zoom, and had a 2.4? LCD viewing screen. What?s more it only measured some 9.5cm X 6.5cm and would fit neatly in my pocket without me even knowing it was there.
Total cost delivered was £55.88 including tax and delivery - I had opted to pay a delivery charge of £5.01 and it was with me 2 days later.
Thinking it was going to be ?cheap and nasty?, I was pleasantly surprised at its quality. Fitting nicely in the palm, it feels very light, but weighty enough to feel like a quality piece of kit. It came...

Review of VivitarViviCam 6324
Advantages: Compact, handy and sharp images Disadvantages: ONly 3 mp, no optical zoom, no lithium batteries
...Mother's day saw a gift for Mother - i.e. my darling wife - that was a little bit more than a bunch of flowers.
Being away from her for the day had made the conscience tender enough to suggest something a bit extra.
Then there had been her gradual realisation that paying for reels of standard film to be developed after holidays, was mighty expensive.
Finally, there had been those little experiments with my Fuji while on safari recently, that prompted the desire to enter the digital revolution.!
This Vivitar is a good starter off in that direction.
Price-wise these are available on the high street for around £60.
They come complete with 2 AA batteries, 14mb of inbuilt memory, a carrying case, the cables and software to download to TV or PC, and a pretty good manual.
It has an oddity for a digital camera in that the focus is...
