Cheap, simple, just enough features to be worth having, results aren't that awful

No optical zoom, can be slow, colour balance a bit odd, no backup battery

Good for pictures

Well made protection.

Can be fiddly to access.

.... The camera is inserted with the lens down and the body is supported by two wing like projections. This is adjustable via velcro to suit the camera or lens. If it is a wet day the bag can be protected via a cover which is housed under the front pocket on the bag. I have not ever used this function as the bag does give some degree of waterproofing.
