Vodafone UKs best
Advantages: Great if all your friends are on Vodafone.
Disadvantages: If you have friends on other networks, say goodbye to your salary.
...Vodafone is the UKs biggest network, providing the country with mobile telecommunications services. They have more customrrs than any other UK network, and it doesn't look like it will change anytime soon.
My contract with Vodafone is run through Singlepoint, this basically means that I'm billed through a company other than Vodafone itself. The main reason I chose Vodafone was due to the fact that a good majority of my friends are on it. I couldn't face the high monstrous other network charges any more and decided to jump ship, I was previosuly with Orange.
Vodafone has a huge number of tariffs to choose from, one of the most varied the that any UK network has to offer. Theres something for everyone, from low users, medium users and high users of their mobile phone. Theres even packages for peak users and off peak users. In...

Vodafone
Advantages: great UK customer service, great coverage
Disadvantages: NA
...price plans, and to help you, i'll tell you about the various price plans which they offer.
AnyNet Price Plan
This is the price-plan that I am currently on, as it is the price plan which you are automatically assigned to, when you first use the sim card. Call costs are
* All daytime calls are 30p per minute
* Evening and Weekends calls are charged at 10p per minute
* Texts are 10p
These prices include calls to UK networks and Landlines
AnyTime Price Plan
The Anytime price plan offers a slightly different call cost service, and is designed for people who are more talkative
* For the 1st three minutes each day, calls are 30pence, afterwards, its only 10p per minute
* Texts are 10p
These prices include calls to UK networks and Landlines

Vodafone
Advantages: cant think of any
Disadvantages: Cost, Customer Services, Escalations Dept, Management Attitude
...Vodafone - 3rd place when it comes to most popular network in the UK, but it comes in first as its the network that makes the most money. Customer Services is Appalling, mainly because they Outsource it to other companies like Firstsource (ICICIonesource) - Indian call centre based in N.Ireland. Very Expensive Network, however they seem to hide this very well in their adviertising... so their TV Adds and Billboards suggest that your getting a deal..Look Closer People!!!.. Mobile Broadband is over rated and 3 Network had reported VF for its declaration of its Speed, which is impossible to determine!!! (Tech Help with Mobile BB is non existant) Staff are encouraged to be 'Self Thought' - this saves them on Trainer Wages..Nightmare guys...

Vodafone!
Advantages: Great customer service, easy to speak to, friendly!
Disadvantages: None!
...for how long or what time of day free for a simple fee of £5 a month on top, but only one person pays that.
You can view your account online which is brilliant, you can also get help online with things to do with your phone, an example would be i could not send picture messages so i went online, entered my phone and mobile number and they sent the details to my phone within minutes of doing it so i was able to use picture messaging.
You can also get extra bunk packages on top of your tariff, just as a bundle of textes or minutes at extra cost depending on which bundle you desire.
You can access vodafone through there website www.vodafone.co.uk
I would recommend vodafone above all the other networks out there!
(sorry if this review doesnt tell you all about the different tariffs, i phoned them and told them what i needed rather...

Vodafone UK - one of the best
Advantages: Reliability, Reception
Disadvantages: Costs other than tariff
...Being a student in my first year, I had an Orange pay-as-you go package which was fine for the occassional message and 5 minute phone call but I needed something a bit more for when I got to Uni... to keep in touch with old mates, and possibly my parents! The pay-as-you go tariff was turning out to be an expensive option, so I decided to have a look around for a tariff which had all i needed which were:
1. A good few off-peak minutes (i'd be in Uni at peak times)
2. A few free messages (50+, the more the better)
3. A good, sleek phone.
So off I went, and found a tariff from the Vodafone network which gave me 600 free minutes and 50 free texts. Brilliant I thought, other networks at the time of buying my contract were more expensive or didn't offer the free texts, and since most of my family was with Vodafone, I decided to go...

UK Vodafone
Advantages: Good coverage, excellent features
Disadvantages: Cost
...Vodafone has excellent coverage around the major cities, however service is patchy in some of the rural areas I've visited recently such as the Scottish Borders and some regions of the West Country. However when you have service it is very clear and I would have no complaints.
Vodafone is one of the more expensive UK networks, I also use Bt Cellnet's Genie Mobile which is much cheaper but the features and extra service provided my Vodafone are excellent, especially the very cheap calls between vodafone mobiles.
Topping up with a top-up card is a breeze and topping up with credit cards is very secure. However the costs for an occassional user are over the top, but for regular users I would not grumble about how much I pay.
There are a wide variety of both contract and pre-pay tarriffs - and for regular users there is bound to be...

vodafone
Advantages: none
Disadvantages: never get good signal
...my opinion on vodafone is not great. i dont think it is very good at all as you can not get a very good signal everywhere. I am on vodafone and i am not pleased with it as i live in the countryside and i can hardly ever get a signal. all my friends have bt cellnet and they can always get a signal when they come to my house, i would not recommend this network to anybody because of the siganl problem, apart from the signal problem this network is fine and would be ok for someone living in a built up area....

VODAFONE - become a Vodaclone
Advantages: Price Plans, Coverage, Ethics
Disadvantages: The TV adverts
...~~~ Vodafone History ~~~
Vodafone is the largest mobile network provider in the UK and it's headquarters is based in Newbury, Berkshire close to junction 13 of the M4, which is home to over 6000 employees.
Back in 1983, a small electronics firm called Racal teamed up with an American telecoms company and together they bid (and won) one of the 2 mobile phone operators licenses which were put up for grabs by the government.
Vodafone was launched 2 years later in 1985 - the name of the other company was Cellnet (later renamed BT Cellnet).
In 1993 a new boy arrived on the block called One-2-One, prompting Vodafone to look beyond the UK to increase it's revenue and co-inciding with the launch of digital technology or GSM as it is referred to now.
The next 6 years saw Vodafone buying out...

Vodafone Update
Advantages: My family and boyfriend are on Vodafone so I can save money on calls to them, offers a wide range of services, excellent customer service.
Disadvantages: Not always the best coverage, expensive, limited choice of price plans, not suitable anymore
...I have been with Vodafone now for nearly three years. I brought my first phone on pay as you go on and I was spending a fortune on top ups.
I then a year later decided to buy a contract phone on Vodafone to save me money on my calls by having the free minutes off peak to call people. This actually did not work out much cheaper than top ups because I always was texting more than calling.
I admit it I am a text addict and when my bill came in each month I was horrified to see how many I sent each month but it didn't stop me did it. My bill was around £60 - 70 per month in just texting. I wish I could have got out of the habit, but still to this day I text too much. I have actually now a genie sim card where I can send 300 text messages free every month.
This was great when I first received it and my next two bills were only £30...

Vodafone Mobile Network - Not The Worst, Not The Best
Advantages: Good signal; good range of phones; reasonably priced plans
Disadvantages: Poor customer services; long customer service waiting times; incorrect bills
...I always think contract plans are much better than 'Pay-As-You-Go', generally because I feel much safer knowing I'm on contract and will never run out of credit if I run into trouble. At the start of 2008 I decided I wanted a new phone with a new service provider, and after scouring the Internet looking for the ideal plan for me, I came across a Vodafone leaflet which came inside my television magazine. Usually I throw these kind of leaflets straight in the bin, but they were offering 500 minutes and unlimited texts for £25 a month, as well as a brand new phone.
I didn't really know of anyone on the Vodafone network - my parents and siblings were either on 02 or T-Mobile, but I reasoned it couldn't be any worse than the '3' network, so I started a contract with Vodafone. The Sony Ericsson phone I had ordered came the next day...
