A nice introduction to VOIP

One issue which really irritates me however is the software itself, say if there is a problem with the Internet, the software will disconnect you from the service. Understandable, I know, but when you do get back online, and click "login", the software doesn't register with your phone again. So the phone does nothing, the only way to get around this is to restart the software so you can begin calling again. In conclusion, it's a great little phone, an excellent introduction to VOIP and brilliant for keeping in contact with the world. Reccomended for University students!...

It is at a bargain price, and provides you with great features, such as a list function and an alphabetical search through your skype contacts. I thought it was going to be a lot bigger, but it's not really bigger than a small ruler, and its design is contemporary and stylish. I wanted a voip phone that cleared up the sound on skype - this almost eliminates the echo. All the software is installed so quickly, it will be ready to use within the first 5 minutes of you taking it out the box!! Basically, it was a complete bargain. ...I recently purchased two of these phones from eBay for around £15 each. This is relatively cheap in the market of VoIP phones which is likely because the lack of a big brand name. VoIP is voice over internet protocol, which is basically inputting voice on to your computer then it being sent via the internet to a receiver and vice versa, which results in a conversation! This acts like a phone line over the internet between you and another person. This phone is advertised as being fully Skype compatible as well as other utilities such as Yahoo and MSN. In my experience it works fine with Skype and MSN but I have not tried Yahoo.
