VW Passat 1.9tdi great family car

Advantages: Great solid reliable family car
Disadvantages: It is very big

...I picked this car as a company car, i currently work as an area sales manager and when i was going through the list of choices i felt this was the best one on the list. The main reason i picked was i had a Passat before which was the old shape and it was a really good, comfortable and reliable family car. I always liked the old Passat but the new one is suberb its even better than the old one. I do about 35000 miles per year and its really comfy on long journeys. It sits great on the motorway and performs well on A and B roads too. Its a solid car and it feels solid, i feel quite safe in it. The SE spec gives you a few more luxuries than the basic spec. Included in this is cruise control, all round electric windows, centre armrest and good looking alloy wheels. I got the 1.9TDI diesel engine which has 105BHP and is quite nippy...

VW Polo Diesel - A great car

...We have had a VW Polo diesel for over 4 years now and can honestly say its been a great car, never let us down and still feels as new now even with almost 65000 miles on the clock. We had it originally in Germany and it was thrashed 100 miles a day up and down the autobahn at around 100 mph and yet still returned an average fuel consumption of 35-40 mpg. When we brought it back to the UK and consequently rarely exceeded 80mph the consumption leapt to 45-50 mpg. We've had it serviced by VW throughout and although the dealers have varied enormously in quality it hasn't mattered that much because there has never been much work to do. ...I bought this when I had my baby as it was apparently the best on the market and I really can't find fault with it at all it has been the most reliable of our baby products and can't rate it highly enough. This car seat is different from others as it is suitable for up to 9 months whilst the majority of others are just up to 6 months. The seat is well padded and has a 'head hugger' so it is safer for newborns. This headhugger can then be removed once your baby is big enough. The straps also can be adjusted once your baby grows so that it is still safe and comfortable. The straps are easy to use- at first they were fiddly but once you have the hang of them then you know what you're doing they're easy! once you have strapped your baby in you then pull on the straps to make them tight so that your baby is safetly in place...

Advantages: Fantastic fuel economy, low CO2 emmissions.

The Bluemotion is VW's eco-friendly range, the Polo was the first of their range to be introduced, but the other main vehicles in the range will/have followed. It is a company car and I had a choice from a limited range of vehicles. I chose this one as it was the most economically one for my circumstances. VW claim it will do a combined 70.6mpg and 88.1mpg Extra Urban. I drive it mainly on the motorway and regularly get 83mpg out of it, and around 550-600 miles on a tank, which is costing me around the £40 to fill up from empty. Volkswagen car dealership in Grimsby has left me very unhappy. I bought my automatic polo from them for £3995. Its W reg, and considering the lack of autos about, and the fact it had only done 55,000 miles, I thought the price wasn't bad. It came with 12 months tax and 10 months MOT, as the MOT had just been done a month and a bit ago. All in all I was pleased. I had no problems with the car and didn't need to return. That was until I needed to have my MOT done. They did the mOT, told me the parts that failed, adn gave me a very expensive quote for the repairs. I obtained a quote from a second garage, adn to my amazement, not only was the quote much cheaper, but the VW staff had not...

A must-see for all of those car mad boys!

Advantages: The soundtrack

...When I first watched this film, I thought it was a loud of rubbish. At the time I was convinced it was probably the worst Disney film that I had seen and wasn't bothered about watching it again any time soon. Noah had other plans and I am currently watching it for the hundredth time! I am not sure if it's a case of becoming familiar with something and quite liking it but this film has really grown on me. The film is based around a famous race car, Lightening Maclean, who gets lost and finds himself in a small town on Route 66 called Radiator Springs.
