...I bought this car new for my wife in December 2001 as our previous car was getting a bit long in the tooth ( Nissan Prairie , which was a great car and never let us down) , which is something that cannot be said for the Voyager. The car came with a 3 year warranty , thankfully ,as we had to use it quite a lot . It has to be mentioned that the dealer who supplied the car ( Bickets of Kilmarnock) were pretty good in that they would pick it up and drop off a courtesy car whenever any work was needing done , which meant we got to drive a P.T cruiser (twice), a Chrysler Neon automatic (once) , a petrol Voyager (twice) , an automatic diesel Voyager (once) and a Cherokee jeep (once), but then we did pay £ 25,000 for the car and expected good service. If you have your car serviced regularly, get them to lift out the injectors to make sure they are OK, it only takes 20 mins but could save you a fortune!!!! SOmeone asked for more information on the car for this review, although i accept this forum is to help people decide when making the all important purchase, this was really a review on additional things to consider when making the purchase. I have been told today by 2 non-chrysler dealers that these type of problem are becoming quite common on Diesel Voyagers of this age, so with that in mind it is a fantastic car to own for 3 years and up until this issue the best car i have ever owned....

Far Flung Voyager

Advantages: Lots of room
Disadvantages: Very thirsty, performance not good enough

The external dimensions are big. It is taller wider and longer than the Galaxy types and the 806 types as well as Toyotas Previa. Indeed you would need to go for a Grand Espace to rival its room. Star Trek Voyager - It needed a better ending

Advantages: Sometimes hits the heights of the original series
Disadvantages: Can get a bit annoying at times

Advantages: Size, Comfort, Practicality, Versatile
Disadvantages: 2ltr engine is ridiculously under powered

...I had the 7 seater, 2ltr Voyager and regret selling it when I did. Interior: Build quality is excellent. Very spacious. The quality of the leather is good for a US car. My kids loved having their own seat and space (less fighting!!) Be warned, if you want to remove seats from the car get some help. I could not believe how heavy they were - be careful. Get all the seats out and you've got a van and can lug an amazing amount of stuff around. Having sliding rear doors on both sides is useful - the Toyota didn't have and was a pain. Instruments and controls were once you got used to them clear and nice to use as a result of the quality of build. Exterior: Looks good. The two rear sliding doors are much better than conventional opening doors like on the Ford. Roof bars are strong and useful but a pig to move - it will take...

Hein Gericke Voyager 2 Goretex suit

Advantages: 100% Waterproof, Warm removable lining, Comfortable Armour
Disadvantages: Zips Can be a little Fiddly

...I purchased this suit about 6 months ago, and I must say it has been absolutely FANTASTIC!! I have worn it in both very warm weather and Freezing Rain, and I have had no problems. I haven't tested the crash performance, but I am sure that the 'Hi-Protec' Armour should do a good job of keeping me safe. As standard this suit does have a very high specification, it has a Gore-Tex lining, Reflective strips for high visibility, the jacket has 7 outside pockets and 1 Inside (There are 2 on the trousers), there is also a removable Thermal Lining, which is very effective, you can zip both jacket and trousers together, and there is also a removable neck warmer perfect for those early morning winter commutes. There is some Bulky Armour which you get as standard on the Shoulders, Elbow, Knees and Hips, there is no Back Protector as standard...

It works flawlessly with the Windows Vista ReadyBoost system giving your laptop or PC a large increase in memory, I have found that this can help when playing very demanding games and improved load up times by about 30%.
