...lamp life of 2000 hours which is pretty standard on projectors today. Most of these projectors have only been use for office presentations and so have only had a couple of hundred hours use, but it pays to check the lamp usage. Just go into the menu and it is recorded there for you. A new lamp would cost you more than the projector is worth so aim to buy one with around 1000 hours use or less. Also if you will want a remote with the projector, makes sure you buy a projector that has the remote with it, as replacement remotes are hard to find, yet the remotes are very easy to lose. And if you are forced to buy a new replacement then be prepared to spend £40-60. But as these projectors are desk mounted, you don't really need a remote for it. Overall a great projector. ...are definitely an option, although you might end up with VPL somewhere around your knees. But most manufacturers of underwear for the younger woman are going small. Specifically, thongs. Go into La Senza, or H & M or wherever, and you'll see lots of small thongy pants in a variety of funky designs. Fine, you think. But most of these thongs are between half an inch and an inch wide at the back. The most crucial part. The part that goes right up your... um... bottom cleft (or crack, or whatever you want to call it - but hereafter to be known simply as "bum" because I'm not typing THAT again). So these pants are designed to disappear into your bum but, as anyone who's tried them knows, if there is too much fabric there, they will BUNCH. And they rub and chafe and turn you into a mad woman. ...I'm writing this review as a friend of mine, who is thinking of buying one of these, said she couldn't find a review, I recommended checking Ciao and it seems she already had with no luck, hence this. Even as an older camcorder (I bought mine three years ago for £450, obviously much cheaper nowadays, around £200-250) the Samsung VP-L600 still has a lot to offer. A little bulkier than more modern camcorders, particularly the ones that use DV tapes (this takes 8mm cassettes), and obviously a little heavier, yet the differences aren't huge, only a few ounces (or grams!) really. The real differences can be seen in that the VP-L600 offers much better value for money for the features it has than more modern camcorders do for a few hundred pounds more. ...The Return of Polished poo!!! How can any girl think that Body Form Strings are a godsend? They have to be the most godawful invention of this century!!! It's bad enough: a) having periods b) having to wear pads/tampax c) having to endure spots d) crying uncontrollably for no reason e) having a stomach like a football f) feeling the need to strangle everyone around you g) being the worst person to work with in the world h) having to wear "period pants" d) having to wear g-strings (for fear of revealing your V.P.L) Ok, Ok, so us vain girls do have to wear g-strings - the V.P.L really is something that people like me would really rather didn't exist. . . ...About 6 months ago I came to the decision that I needed a large screen TV but I didn't want to lose a large percentage of the space in my lounge. That basically ruled out a CRT or rear projection and at the time I thought the only option was a plasma TV. As it happened I managed to visit a friend who had just purchased the VPL-HS10 Sony projector and I was completely blown away by the flexibility of the unit and amazing picture quality. I was aware that Sony were soon to bring out a new version of this from scouring US forums so decided to bide my time. Eventually I went down to my local Sony centre when it was available and had a demo of the new HS20 model. After lots of questions and a demo I parted with my hard earned cash and took it home. As yet I’ve not mounted it anywhere and in fact it’s at an angle of about 20 degree’s off... Read review
