Advantages: performance, extra optional equipment, boot, price, versatility, understated

...Originally I was looking for an audi coupe but I found a nice example of a VR6 Vento on e-bay (they usually go a bit lower than the golfs). Review of Volkswagen Vento VR6

Golf VR6 - 2nd hand heavyweight.

Advantages: Speed, comfort, vw reliabilty, vw resale value
Disadvantages: Its thirsty! If it does go wrong it can get expensive. Thief magnet!
