...I purchased the V.SMILE for my son Jordon for Christmas which I paid £54.99 which included Winnie the Pooh?s Honey hunt game. As some of you know Jordon is disabled with special needs and has developmental delays 'very behind in learning' who is also deaf so can not hear the music and sounds. Advantages: Educational but fun
Disadvantages: battery powered unless you can find the right power pack

...I brought this product for my son when he was 2 has you may guess it sat in a cupboard till he was 3. When I brought it I did not realise it was battery powered and I found it drained the battery very quickly it was turning into a very expensive toy, but then I found out you could buy the adapter but I could not find one anywhere so what I did was buy a multi adapter charger from Argos which was cheaper than the original charger for the v- smile the game that came with the computer was pooh bear, this game was very good it was easy to control and it teaches the child the alphabet, colours, counting, vocabulary, phonics, shapes and numbers so it covers a wide range. Vtech V Smile Pocket educates and stimulates

Advantages: Turns game time into brain time!
Disadvantages: Need to separately purchase the Pocket Travel Bag to protect the LCD screen.

...or left-handed use, slide up the switch on the back of the V Pocket Smile and roll the big buttons (mid section on either side of the V Smile Pocket) into your required hand usage. The buttons will change into the opposite colour of whatever it was previously to reflect the change. If you need to change back to the hand usage you had earlier, perform the same manoeuvre over again. Vtech recommend you purchase their branded Vtech 9V 300mA AC/DC adaptor. Hail the V smile

Advantages: bright colours, eductaional, fun learning for all ages

...I bought a Thomas Vsmile by Vtech for my son for Christmas, thanks to all the adverts it was all he kept talking about however i am glad i did give it the glory of advertising. The new Vsmile comes with a microphone and also a pen which allows your child to get used to numbers and letters in fun but education way. The microphone also kepps them to learn songs & rythm by signing along to the catchy songs. The brght colours of the consol makes it eye catching and the consol itself is easy to use for as long as it is plugged into the TV the child can do everythin on their own. MY VERY FIRST GAMES MACHINE

...I decided to purchase this for my second child, I am a fan of Vtech toys and think most of thier products are good value for money. Toys for our first child consisted mostly of hand me downs from our family, but was disappointed when they didn't hand this down to us and bought us a different walker for our son. I now understand why, my nephew continued to play with his unil he was at least 3. The walker we had for our first child was more basic with less features, so when we were able to afford this for our second child I couldn't wait to go and buy it.
