Six wheels on my Wagon

Advantages: Individually wrapped, taste ok, not too pricey
Disadvantages: Ordinary these days.

...Wagon Wheels are one of those last few remaining treats that I remember from my childhood, and are still around. As kids we would be given a wagon wheel occasionally and they seemed huge taking ages to eat. I know that when we are young children we are usually quite small but I dont think that this is the only reason that Wagon Wheels seem to be so small nowadays by comparison. Still, in line with other such products, as their size has diminished their price has not. They are usually purchased these days in multi-packs such as the one I bought this week that hold 6 individually wrrapped wagon wheels. ...We are all quite fond of eating biscuits in my household. In fact we tend to go through quite a lot in the space of a week often as a result of packed lunches for all of us and an after school snack for the children. I tend to try and buy slightly more healthy versions for example serial bars however occasionally if I see a special offer on at the local supermarket I will tend to buy a slightly more indulgent biscuit pack. Don't roll away wagon wheel!

Disadvantages: Not enough chocolate

...Chocolate, biscuit and marshmallow what could possibly be better? I love all three of those things and that's why I think Burtons Original Wagon Wheels are so great, they are basically a chocolate biscuit with marshmallow coated in chocolate. Looking at the titles of the other reviews on here I can see that a lot of people seem to think they have shrunk, I don't remember how big they were to able to comment on that but I think even if they have they are still good, there's just a little less of the goodness than there was before. They can be bought in packets of various sizes depending on where you buy them but the most common ones are the 6 pack and the 12 pack. I buy them in packets of 6 because then my husband & I are not tempted to eat too many and they cost me about 50p which is fairly cheap. They come in a red plastic wrapper...

Sadly when I take a Wagon Wheel in my hands now it doesn't seem as big but probably that's because my hands have gotten bigger lol. You can recognise these on the shelves by their long red packaging with a picture of a wild west cowboy in his wagon. Now the packet I am reviewing is a special offer packet which has 50% extra free so this review could differ from other members description. The 50% deal takes over the paket basically with its red lettering written on bright yellow background, but the picture of the cowboy is still the same on all packs. They used to be far more adequate for the task. I can only assume that todays 'Wagon Wheels' are designed to fit miniature or scaled down models. Mmm, moan over... What are these biscuits like? They are round (hence the 'Wheel'part of the name.) They are thin biscuits covered in jam and marshmallow and dipped in chocolate. I came across Burtons Wagon Wheels the other day and as I remembered how wonderful they were when I was a kid (many moons ago) I thought they deserved a chance to grace my fridge!.
