...And so my crusade to review all sorts of terribly bad for you junk food continues. Yes, we've had Oreos, Wispas, Walkers Roast Chicken Crisps...and now we have a 'spin-off' off the Walkers brand, it's the good old fashion Quavers. It's familiar yellow packaging and traditional cheese flavour are favourites in lunchboxes up and down the land. For a time, I was a big fan of the other flavours - bacon, prawn cocktail and salt and vinegar, but they seem to fall by the wayside when it comes to competing with their bigger brother. Oh, and does anyone remember the ketchup flavour which flirted with the limelight for a while? As with all Walkers crisps now, they are made with Sunseed oil; a special type of sunflower oil (apparently), which results in far less saturated fat than before (up to 80% in fact). Walkers Shortbread

Advantages: Really tasty, sweet but not overpowering. A good price.
Disadvantages: None at all but beware of the salt

...I certainly now that it is Christmas when I get a request off my Nan to go and get her some shortbread! It is a regular thing now and from November onwards I have learned to keep my eye out for a bargain for her. Whilst in the Range of all places a couple of weeks ago I happened to spot a large display of Shortbread. I have to admit that this was the last place I expected to find Shortbread as I was in the store looking for a couple of hand towels... Advantages: Delicious, cheap, variety, versatile
Disadvantages: Prawn cocktail flavour, quite high in fat.

...As some of you know, I have a very sweet tooth. Unfortunately, I also have a very savoury tooth and I'm a particular sucker for a bag of crisps. So, you can imagine my delight each week when the weekly shop has been done and I can rumage around and see what delights my mum has bought for us to enjoy and devour this week. Our family likes a huge variety of crisps, usually resulting in 3 or 4 huge variety bags being bought- our usuals are Wotsits, McCoys, Hula Hoops and pringles. However this week was different. I first came across the WALKERS variety bag when I was looking for an accompanyment to go with my sandwich for my lunch. My eyes lit up as I noticed the huge bag in the crisps cupboard. Sensational Walkers.

Advantages: Great tasting, different and high quality.
Disadvantages: High in calories, fat and salt.

Walkers Roast Chicken Crisps

Advantages: Good old fashioned Walkers, cheap
Disadvantages: There are better crisps out there

...Whilst devouring a ham and cheese toasted sandwich for lunch yesterday, the perfect accompaniment had to be a bag of good old fashioned Walkers Crisps...today's choice, Roast Chicken flavour. Taken from one of the 6 x 25g packs which cost approximately £1.23 from the likes of Tescos and Asda, the first thing that strikes you at the moment is the paraphernalia which covers the orange package due to Walkers' ongoing competition to save money on trips around the UK. But that's just a sideshow; you're all obviously wondering what they taste like. Well, of course they do taste like roast chicken - no surprise there thankfully - but although it pains me to say it, there are better crisps of this flavour out there. Walkers Sensations Oriental Crackers

Advantages: Delicious!
Disadvantages: None!

...A tasty little number for your delectation this afternoon - Walkers very own Sensations Oriental Crackers...the Peking Spare Rib flavour. Yum! It comes in a purple packet with green 'trim', at 110g a bag - the 'share' bag if you will. Unfortunately they're yet to burst into the individual bag market, but if they did I'd be buying them in shares!! What differs them from the normal Sensations brand such as Thai Sweet Chilli is they are shaped like crackers rather than crisps...a posh Quaver than basically... Well, not entirely. Upon opening the packet, the crisps do look like miniature versions of the prawn crackers every Chinese takeaway loves to give away, but smaller and slightly coloured in flavourings. The feel of the crisp when biting down on it is somewhat firmer than a Quaver, so I'll remove the title of 'posh Quaver...

Vtech baby walker for little walkers

...I bought this baby walker for my twins and they loved it and played with it all the time and then it was then passed down to my youngest daughter who also loves it. The baby walker is made to support your baby when they first start to walk. The baby walker has also got a panel on the front which has lights, music and different activities for your child to do, when it is turned on it barks and says 'hello baby' then starts singing 'hello puppy calling do you want to play with me, lets have fun together while we learn your ABC'. The panel has 2 volume levels, can be turned off and can be removed for younger babies to play with. Each thing on the front off the panel does something different and there is a butterfly which switches the mode from alphabetical/numerical to music and back again. ...If you looking to buy a walker for your baby I truly believe that this is the one to buy. Now I have 2 children i spot this toy everywhere, i see it at every toddler group i go to and in each one of my friends with childrens homes. It a great toy and both my children have used it endlessly. Not only is it a great walker but the front interactive part comes off and can be used as a toy on the flat floor, great for babies who are not up on their feet just yet. ...There is no doubt in my mind that Walkers Sensations are especially made for over 18`s. A sophisticated potato treat in a very chic packet. Recently Walkers must have reviewed the way in which they market their popular Sensations range. The Thai Sweet chili crisps look up to the minute in their swish black shiny plastic packet and to top it all Walkers have adorned the bag with a taste of the Orient by adding a large attractive long red swirl down the centre of the packet front. The flavour `Thai Sweet Chili` appears written in the same red lettering and at the top of the packet the Walker`s logo sits beside the word `Sensations` that stands out in a crystal clear bright white font. Start off with a full bag of Walkers Sensations and after the first few you are left wanting more! The sweet chili flavour is tantalising and creeps...
