Off the Wall-E!

...Most of the mums and dads out there will have enjoyed the recent serge of cartoons that make kids feel like adults or the ones that make adults feel like kids, stuffed full of in-jokes for the grown ups like the family are with popcorn (the worlds biggest mark-up on a food snack!) in the cinemas, a great way to get the whole family into those multiplexes as they gulp their bumper Cokes and the money roles in. But with WALL- E we have the first real carton aimed at adults that the kids can watch too, if they are well-behaved, politically aware pixel animation definitely the future. It really is a smart commercial more by Pixel and a really clever little flick to-boot that they have come up with here, comfortably one of the best films of the year, one you can watch over and over again. Meet Wall E.......

Advantages: Fun and entertaining for the whole family

...My wife really wanted to go and see this recently at the cinema using our unlimited card - I was a bit reluctant as the trailers didn't show it to be all that great and I had heard a rumour that there was supposed to be no talking in it what so ever! This had also put me off slightly but considering that we didn't have to technically pay to see it and if we didn't like it we could just go and see another film a little bit later I agreed to give it a shot! Wall-E Review

Advantages: Everything!
Disadvantages: I can't think of anything

...Wall-E is a story about a little refuse collecting robot who has been left to clean up the mess we humans have left behind after we fled the earth. Wall-E is all alone on earth except for a pet cockroach. It's when EVE comes to earth that story picks up. EVE is a sleek (and dangerous) reconnaissance robot, sent to earth to find proof that life is once again sustainable. WALL-E falls in love with Eve and so when she leaves on a massive ship he hitches along and learns more than he could ever imagine. I'm gonna say straight off that I love this film, it seems that Pixar can do no wrong and with Wall-E they have created one the cutest, most loveable characters ever seen on screen. As Wall-E doesn't talk there are long periods with no dialogue but this is never boring and you're so thoroughly entertained you'll wonder where the time went...

Disney Pixar raise the bar again with Wall-E

...I am sure I am not alone in being a parent of a child who has begged me to take him to watch Wall-E at the cinema since the film first started being advertised a few months ago. Disney Pixar's latest wonderful collaboration had my son hooked from the first ad on TV. He laughed his head off and I thought, 'How could I deny that?!' So, last week, with rubbish British Summer weather, we headed off to our local cinema for pick'n'mix and some Disney magic. The Plot Wall-E is set in a future where the world has changed. The company Buy'N'Large has monopolised the world and turned it into a rubbish site, with piles off rubbish littering its entirety. Wall e - Fun for everyone

Advantages: great story, unique story, good animation
Disadvantages: people don't like how long it takes to hear talking

...Disney pixars Wall-E is a really enjoyable film that is different to any other film I have ever seen. Disney pixar have made over the years some of the best animation around and they decided to do so aqgain with Wall-E. The film is for people of all ages from little tiny children to full grown adults. In the film there is enough excitement to keep everyone amused so this is why I think the film is a great family film to watch on a saturday night with a bag of popcorn. Wall-E, fun...for a while.

Advantages: A nice toy with limited longevity.
Disadvantages: A bit samey after a while.

...One of the many, many stocking filler presents that my son received from his nan this, or should I say, last Christmas, Is the toy I will now review. The toy I will now review is - ?Transforming WALL.E?. This toy, as nice as it is, has a very limited shelf life due to the very few things it can actually do. Based on the original concept of the Transformers, think the 80?s!, this particular toy has two show modes in total?? WALL.E the robot and a cube. You purchase the toy in robot mode, but there are clear ?transforming? instructions printed on the back of the packaging along with pictures for every stage, a bonus I feel due to the toy not being difficult as such to transform, but needing a little finesse to achieve it. WALL-E - Destined to be a Classic

Advantages: Funning, moving, imaginative

Wall. E: the world's cutest robot

Advantages: characters, special effects and animation, universal humour

...Wall-e is a film I think everyone should see because it is simply brilliant! I have seen it once at the cinema and because I thought it was so great I bought it on Blu-ray! Wall-e is animated film about Wall-e (Waste Allocation Load Lifter Earth-Class robot) the last robot on Earth has to clean up all the rubbish humans have made on Earth which does ring a bell. However Wall-e`s boring day to day task changes when a new machine appears and everything changes... The animation is great throughout the film and the picture looks fantastic. I also like the fact the film has a moral message about helping the environment which is a fantastic lesson for children to learn and this film shows how the Earth could end up if we don`t start recycling and helping the environment soon!
