Off the Wall-E!

Advantages: Clever animation
Disadvantages: None

...Most of the mums and dads out there will have enjoyed the recent serge of cartoons that make kids feel like adults or the ones that make adults feel like kids, stuffed full of in-jokes for the grown ups like the family are with popcorn (the worlds biggest mark-up on a food snack!) in the cinemas, a great way to get the whole family into those multiplexes as they gulp their bumper Cokes and the money roles in. But with WALL- E we have the first real carton aimed at adults that the kids can watch too, if they are well-behaved, politically aware pixel animation definitely the future. It really is a smart commercial more by Pixel and a really clever little flick to-boot that they have come up with here, comfortably one of the best films of the year, one you can watch over and over again. I don't normally fall for the hype that the likes...

Its only made of paper

Advantages: Cheap

...clash with the décor in the room. Our room was purple and orange with pre-Raphaelite and band posters on the wall. Since I am familiar with paper lampshades similar to the one in the picture I shall talk about this type mostly. . Globe paper lampshades are made in a variety of colours. They are a simple design the paper is stretched and held over wire rings they come flat packed and you open them up like a concertina. Some other designs I think you have to slot the thin metal rods /sticks onto the paper lamp shade. Instructions to do this should be on the lamp shade packs. These light shades will fit onto standard light bulb holder .Check the pack to see what wattage bulb to use I think they are ok with a 60 or 40 w bulb best to try and use energy saving bulbs where possible . ...Kotor is a beautiful little town on the Montenegro coast. It's a natural harbour and is a real jewel of the Adriatic. I'm going to write another review about the town - this one is about one the main attractions of Kotor - its City Walls. When we arrived in the town we looked up from the hustle and bustle of the medieval cobbled streets lined with busy bars and gazed at the walls which creep up the mountainside, apparently disappearing into oblivion. Montenegro means "Black Mountain", and wherever you stand on the coast, the skyline is dominated by the gloom of the mountains just beyond the town. We contemplated the climb - the heat was intense in the middle of the day - pushing 35 or 36 degreed Celsius, and it looked a long, long way up. Wall-E Review

Advantages: Everything!
Disadvantages: I can't think of anything

...Wall-E is a story about a little refuse collecting robot who has been left to clean up the mess we humans have left behind after we fled the earth. Wall-E is all alone on earth except for a pet cockroach. It's when EVE comes to earth that story picks up. EVE is a sleek (and dangerous) reconnaissance robot, sent to earth to find proof that life is once again sustainable. WALL-E falls in love with Eve and so when she leaves on a massive ship he hitches along and learns more than he could ever imagine. I'm gonna say straight off that I love this film, it seems that Pixar can do no wrong and with Wall-E they have created one the cutest, most loveable characters ever seen on screen. As Wall-E doesn't talk there are long periods with no dialogue but this is never boring and you're so thoroughly entertained you'll wonder where the time went...

Disney Pixar raise the bar again with Wall-E

...I am sure I am not alone in being a parent of a child who has begged me to take him to watch Wall-E at the cinema since the film first started being advertised a few months ago. Disney Pixar's latest wonderful collaboration had my son hooked from the first ad on TV. He laughed his head off and I thought, 'How could I deny that?!' Daphne and her Paper Factory

...My wife really wanted to go and see this recently at the cinema using our unlimited card - I was a bit reluctant as the trailers didn't show it to be all that great and I had heard a rumour that there was supposed to be no talking in it what so ever! Paper Toss Game

Advantages: A quick and simple game for free...

...So here's a little number for all us iPhone addicts to enjoy...the "Paper Toss" Application to be exact made by Backflip Studios...and what's that?? It's free?! Oh yes! Ever since I downloaded this game a coupe of months back, it's still ranked as one of, if not the top free download game on the iTunes store - a great pinnacle to hold, especially considering how simple this game is. Now, remember the iPhone is a touch phone, and that's how you control the game. As the title denotes, you 'toss' the paper into the bin from a set distance regarding the level you pick - Easy, Medium or Hard. But it's not as straight forward as that. It never is!
