...Walt Disney Studios is situated next door to Disneyland Paris. As with Disneyland, you enter through a security tent manned by a handful of security staff that "pretend" to search your bag as you pass through. You then take a minute's walk to the entrance of Walt Disney Studios (which I must say is a little unclear - I wasn't convinced it was the entrance until I got right up close) and put your ticket into the entrance stall to pass through the turnstiles. If you're in a wheelchair or pushing a stroller, you pass your ticket to one of the attendants situated in the booths between the turnstiles and they'll swipe your ticket then let you pass through the booth. If you haven't bought a ticket in advance, you can do so from one of four ticket booths situated just off to the side of the entrance turnstiles. Expect to pay a Disneyland...

THE ULTIMATE DISNEY EXPERIENCE

Advantages: You think you know DisneyWorld? Look for Imagineers, Reedy Creek, Facilities Way, Utilidors
Disadvantages: Ever popular, poorly advertised, there may be a waiting list

Review of Walt Disney World Backstage Magic

A disney park that has more for the inner child in adults too!

Advantages: Adult rides
Disadvantages: Smaller park, dont need a whole day there

...PRICE We were lucky enough to have our tickets included in our stay at Sequioa so we had no problem with the price of entry so i wont really comment on that. ARRIVAL It is very easy to access disney studios by train bus or car - as with the whole resort, disney is a world of its own that thrives on tourism so has made it very accessible for the public. The park is situated next to The magic kingdom and a short walk from the hotels. There is a dividing section (mainly a garden and footpath) that separates the two parks. It has a security check (apparently) which i feel they were more so checking for outside food than weapons based on all the food signs that were around. Its very quick and easy to get through and then you are in the park. We entered two different days in the morning after our guest hours at the magic kingdom and both days...

...On our trip (just 2 adults, no kids) to Disneyland Paris last September we eventually opted to spend a day in Disney Studios. We had only planned to go to one of the parks (Disneyland) but as we had enjoyed it so much, our plan to go into Paris for the day was swiftly changed to a visit to this theme park. We didn't have our Disney park tickets included with our hotel so a one day park pass cost Є43 each (it is Є35 per child). Though it wasn't a park hopper pass, it allowed us to go back into the Disneyland Park after 5pm (as Disney Studios closes two hours before the other park). This was a great added benefit we weren't expecting. As our visit was in early September the parks were quieter than they are in peak periods. Walt Disney World: miles of fun for everyone!

Advantages: Great theme parks, hotels and weather
Disadvantages: 9 hour flight and almost too much to do!!

...Walt Disney World in Florida is the largest of any of the Disney Parks in the world and covers over 46 square miles!! It consists of: 4 major theme parks (Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney MGM Studios and and the new Animal Kingdom) 3 water parks Over 15 hotels and 1 camp site Dining, leisure and shopping activities. It's such a big place that it would be impossible for me to tell you everything about it, but I'll give a brief background and choose some of my favourite things! I have done some other ops on Disney as well in more details, so please feel free to check those out as well! Getting there; There are tons of flights to get from the UK to Florida and you can either fly into Orlando International airport (30 minutes away) or Sanford (1 hour away). ...Booking was pretty straightforward. I was flexible with my departure days. I booked myself into the Sequoia Lodge for a two-night/three day stay. The price included breakfast and Disney Hopper Pass for three days. I asked them about Eurostar but the price (I was quoted an extra £180) was horrendous. I decided to book my own transport. Living half an hour from Luton airport, I decided to book an Easy Jet flight to Paris Charles de Gaulles Airport. The flight was cheap. I took the first plane out from Luton and arrived in Paris at just after 8 in the morning. I was directed to the bus stop, told the driver where I wanted to get off and within 45 minutes I was dropped outside the Sequoia Lodge. Open Your Eyes To The World Of Walt Disney.

Advantages: Superb quality animation and colour throughout.

...Cruising to Alaska was such a wonderful experience that my husband decided he would like to cruise to the Northern cape of Norway, and after surfing the net he discovered we could sail from England and avoid the problem of the weight of luggage, especially as this was an 12 day cruise. The ship was called the MSC Lirica. I have to admit I hadn?t heard of MSC cruises but whilst cruising we noticed several MSC container ships. But after having booked I soon learned a lot more as we get at least one email a week! Written by Bob Sehlinger and Len Testa this book is produced every year so that it can provide an updated guide to help travellers. This is now in its 23rd year of production which is testament really to how popular it is!
