...Kudos to ciao this week for picking a product of the week which most people will have first hand knowledge of and making a decent competition for a change. I had begun to think the whole thing was pointless when entries from people who had never used the product or had only come into contact with it when it was put up were finishing very highly. To me it seems intrinsically wrong to award those who have written a review based on a scan of a website or a single use of a product and I got quite disillusioned with the whole thing. Worth A Wanda To The Shops For This One

Advantages: British Comedy at its best. John Cleese - Enough said!!!

Advantages: cant stop laughing with all thwe humour that is going on

...This is a 1988 comedy and suspense movie starring John Cleese and Jamie Lee Curtis. The dirctor is Charles Crichton. Well where do you start explaining how funny this is, i have had to watch this about 11 times just because me and my partner was laughing so much that it made our stomach hurts and we kept missing pieces but also because its not your usual comedy with loads of cleshaes. The jokes are well proportioned and timed well the plot is airtight. Along the way, there are plenty of funny lines and gags, especially from Kline. The movie is centred around 4 actors whocome together to pull off a daring jewel robbery. Wanda poses as the girl of ringleader George to get his trust while her lover, Otto, pretends to be her brother. After the job Wanda and Otto betray George by calling the police on him ? but they find themselves out...

Advantages: Hilarious, excellent cast and storyline

...I've watched this movie over and over again?.I?m still laughing at the brilliantly timed and extremely funny jokes! One of the most superbly written, hilariously funny comedies I have seen!! This is mainly due to the spectacular cast of the film, Jamie Lee Curtis, the beautiful, alluring, backstabbing, and double crossing Wanda who will stop at nothing to get what she wants! I thought the chips were to go with fish .

Advantages: Very funny , great characters , great performances , good plot , farce

...When A Fish Called Wanda hit the big screens, in 1988, it was way ahead of it's time. As with many movies, it suffered a little from over-hype by the press and reviewers. As such, it was a wee bit of a disappointing film to me. However, I only mean a very small wee(gosh I hope you know what I mean)bit. The plot revolves around an American couples visit to England. Wanda, a sex bomb of a con artist and Otto, a jewel thief have planned, and are to carry out a diamond robbery in London. The plot involves a double cross, deceit and murder all of which is carried out in ludicrous circumstances. Michael Palin best known for Monty Python and more recently Pole to Pole on British televisions, plays a stuttering character, who is not as foolish as his opponents think.
