Reviews of warcraft
World Of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade
Review of World of Warcraft The Burning Crusade Expansion (PC) by
unztable
Advantages: New additions and improved graphics
Disadvantages: expensive
...World of warcraft was aleardy a hit online gaming. I myself is an addict of this game. The new expansion pack is much better with an increase in the level cap to 70 and new spells for each class and many more additions have made this game more interesting and challenging. The entire new continent of Outland is worth discovering.
The demand for this game is increasing rapidly and online gaming such as warcraft (dota) and generals are fading away as it cannot compete with this new upgrade.
Although the new upgrade is expensive, it is worth spending the money as the World of Warcraft:the buring crusade is an excellent and awesome game and if you miss it you surely have missed something. Most of all the new upgrade has improved graphics, music and animation.
All gamers what are you waiting for go and get the upgrade....

World Of Warcraft is yet to be defeated...
Review of World of Warcraft (PC) by
djjamie
Advantages: Hours of gameplay, Stunning graphics, fun to play
Disadvantages: Can get expensive, Needs good internet connection
...World Of Warcraft is massive multiplyer online game which is packed with excitment. Choose your character from a whole range of fantasy races and class's such as a dwarf hunter, human warrior or even an orc shaman. Train your character and get the best items. Endure on mystical quests and kill many enemys on your way to glory. With very good graphics and stunning scenerys will get you into the mystical world. With millions of other people playing you can join them to help each other and speak with online members in game. World Of Warcraft is an amazing fun filled game that is very addictive and will make you want to play for ever. The only bad point about this game is the monthly subscripsion which when addicted to game play may dent your wallet, but World Of Warcraft is definatly a must play game....

Goog Game
Review of Warcraft (PC) by
lukerussell
Advantages: Highly playable
Disadvantages: weak graphics and sound
...This is a good strategy game which was very successful. You take control of either Humans or Orcs and have to fight against the other side in scenarios fighting to achieve and objective for each level. The game is very enjoyable, but the graphics and sound compared to more recent games are pretty weak, even though when it was released it was among the best. Don't let this put you off, still buy it so that you have experience at the game then get Warcraft 2 and Warcraft 3 which are progressively better. I loved this game at the time but now when you compare it to the sequels respectively it is nowhere near as good....

Warcraft Reign's Supreme
Review of Warcraft III: Reign Of Chaos (PC) by
russbrown
Advantages: Addictive strategy/role play game.
Disadvantages: To addictive for your own good.
...I was first hooked on Warcraft when I played Warcraft 2: Tides of Darkness so like many others when I heard that a sequel was in production, anticipation overcame me.
Warcraft 3 did not disappoint. The story continues on well from the previous games but can be picked up easily by strangers to the world of Warcraft. The plot surrounds five different races four of which are playable. There are Orcs, Humans, Night Elves, and Undead with Daemons remaining computer controlled throughout. Each race is armed with unique units, magical abilities, and weapons of war to take into battle as they renew their struggle for dominance.
Unlike before there is no choice of which race you play as the plot is written in such a way that you control all races as the story unfolds. This helps the game keep your attention as nothing stays the same for long...

Great game but past its time
Review of WarCraft 2 (PC) by
anotherwiseguy
Advantages: playable, good music, good units
Disadvantages: bit dated
...I am a great fan of this type of game and though not usually into war gaming or anything space/fantasy etc, I thought WarCraft 1 was fantastic. I bought WarCraft 2 purely on the strentgh of its predeccessor and I was pleased to find that version 2 was much improved. I had many a fun hour playing on WarCraft - the game was very addictive and playable, the music good and the sound effects amusing. It had a level editor and some great units to muck around with. The technology levels increased well and the missions built into the game were sensible and progressive. All in all, a very good example of a game in this category and very playable.
However, I would not really advise you to buy this game now as firstly, it has been eclipsed by games such as 'Age of Empires 2: Age of Kings' and WarCraft 3 is also approaching......

Beyond the Dark Competition
Review of WarCraft 2 (PC) by
JiLar
Advantages: Classic, Great Sound, Lovable Gameplay
Disadvantages: Only two races who are techologically very similar
...Warcraft 2 has been around for many years now, but it is still a real classic in every sense of the word. Although the newest Blizzard RTS game, StarCraft, could well be called better than Warcraft, you will never tire of the lovingly put together graphics, the delicious music and lighting effects, and of course the orc grunt's 'STOP POKING ME!!!!!' Two brilliant campaigns for each CD, with a storyline that will draw you in, and before long you'll be hooked. The two races, humans and orcs, both have an array of different spells, and although the different units have similar counterparts, each says different things, a factor that helps to give this game its addictive edge. A truly loveable game....

This game could be described as one of the grandads of strategy games of the past century, The same basic strategy game rules apply, The story takes place in the mideval times...continuing saga of Azeroth,
Review of WarCraft 2 (PC) by
kyote
Advantages: You can feel good finishing another game...
Disadvantages: You wont know what to do with the CD afterwards
...I started playing Warcraft II quite late, actually this year(2000) to be precise, Well after playing the advanced versions of strategy games I found Warcraft a bit 'Out of the past century', But i have to admit that i didnt rest till i ended the game...
The game doesn't exactly lack scope...
It has a Story to build the game, as the continuation of Warcraft I,
Tides of Darkness takes the continuing saga of Azeroth to the next level as the battle between the Orc and Human civilizations rages on over land, sea, and air.
I found the game a bit Simplistic... I chose the Humans(since they look like the good guys), the levels dont get difficult at all till the last levels...and the objective of each level is almost the same...But i guess i cant complain this game was made quite along time ago and was a hit then...
So it is quite unfair...

Old but still kickin
Review of WarCraft 2 (PC) by
al1en
Advantages: Fun, addictive
Disadvantages: Lame graphics/sounds
...Warcraft II is an immensely fun game of pure strategy. You command a legion of tough orcs or noble humans across many levels and scenarios to wipe out the enemy force. Included with the game is a map editor program so you can create your own levels and even edit the characteristics or the characters.
The world is viewed from a top down birds-eye view and the statistics of each character are displayed on the left hand side of the screen whenever you click on a character. The characters are relatively easy to control but the pathfinding isn’t perfect and they sometimes get lost.
If you click on the same character multiple times they often shout out amusing remarks. There’s many cheats available for Warcraft II but one funny thing to do is if you click on a critter for ages they explode.
On a bad point there are many ways Warcraft II...

Warcraft III, best strategy ever,
Review of Warcraft III: Reign Of Chaos (PC) by
vavayis
Advantages: Hero feature, Neutral creatures, Good graphics, Good storyline.
Disadvantages: Maximum 90 population, Hard single player, no boats (like in warcraft 2)
...When i first installed and played the game Warcraft III i could already see that this was going to be one of those classic games. The cinematics are awesome, the storyline is great (and original) and gameplay is simple yet complicated. Simple enough for the beginners, yet highly in depth for the experts (especially when playing online). The graphics of the game are great, the fact that a strategy game has come out in real 3D really shows what great developers blizzard have. The fact that the game ties in at points from warcraft 2 (such as some of the units/abilities eg: blizzard) are really cool, this gives you a feeling of familiarity to a game (something that all games need) and yet it does not make you say "yez, another game that’s exactly like its predecessor with only hyped up graphics" The reason im saying that familiarity...
