World of warcraft Review
Review of World of Warcraft (PC) by  rapagna

Advantages: Great game, Friendly players, addictive people from all over the globe
Disadvantages: Cost, many languages nasty players, addictive

...What is world of warcraft? World of warcraft is a MMORPG ( multi massive online role player game) This means it is online and other people play the game with you... There are many advantages to this game and there is a few disadvantages such as. Advantages: Many players, all ( well at least most ) respect other players and are mostly kind and helpful disadvantages: People dont always speak the same language so you might not be able to understand someone who you are playing with, £8.99 is the monthly fee, and you have to pay £30 for the disks. What you need to play World of warcraft. A decent computer ( the better computer the better experience you will have ) broadband Keyboard and mouse and a nice comfy chair because you will get backacke from all that playing. What is world of warcraft about? World... Read review

Warcraft Reign's Supreme
Review of Warcraft III: Reign Of Chaos (PC) by  russbrown

Advantages: Addictive strategy/role play game.
Disadvantages: To addictive for your own good.

...I was first hooked on Warcraft when I played Warcraft 2: Tides of Darkness so like many others when I heard that a sequel was in production, anticipation overcame me. Warcraft 3 did not disappoint. The story continues on well from the previous games but can be picked up easily by strangers to the world of Warcraft. The plot surrounds five different races four of which are playable. There are Orcs, Humans, Night Elves, and Undead with Daemons remaining computer controlled throughout. Each race is armed with unique units, magical abilities, and weapons of war to take into battle as they renew their struggle for dominance. Unlike before there is no choice of which race you play as the plot is written in such a way that you control all races as the story unfolds. This helps the game keep your attention as nothing stays the same... Read review

Warcraft III released by Blizzard
Review of Warcraft III: Reign Of Chaos (PC) by  yomukechmiye

Advantages: Unique, Real time strategy, brilliant online gaming, good campaign
Disadvantages: not so good 3D graphics

...Warcraft III is a recent game (last 5th July 2002) released by Blizzard - the maker of such great games as the diablo series, starcraft and of course... the warcraft series. There is an awful lot this game has to offer compared to its previous counterparts such as warcraft II and starcraft. The game itself is meant to be a strategy but the makers have made it role playing too... in a way. Just think Diablo meets Warcraft II and you're there. The single player is just like the starcraft single player - you can choose the campaign or custom missions, either way is very enjoyable. In the campaign, you will take control of the humans, undead, orcs and night elves in that order. The beauty with Blizzard campaigns are the cinematics at the start or end of every race you complete the campaign in and it is what has kept me going... Read review

Warcraft III, best strategy ever,
Review of Warcraft III: Reign Of Chaos (PC) by  vavayis

Advantages: Hero feature, Neutral creatures, Good graphics, Good storyline.
Disadvantages: Maximum 90 population, Hard single player, no boats (like in warcraft 2)

...When i first installed and played the game Warcraft III i could already see that this was going to be one of those classic games. The cinematics are awesome, the storyline is great (and original) and gameplay is simple yet complicated. Simple enough for the beginners, yet highly in depth for the experts (especially when playing online). The graphics of the game are great, the fact that a strategy game has come out in real 3D really shows what great developers blizzard have. The fact that the game ties in at points from warcraft 2 (such as some of the units/abilities eg: blizzard) are really cool, this gives you a feeling of familiarity to a game (something that all games need) and yet it does not make you say "yez, another game that’s exactly like its predecessor with only hyped up graphics" The reason im saying that familiarity... World Of Warcraft Levels 1-20
Review of World of Warcraft (PC) by  SporadicReapage

Advantages: Easy to fit into timetable, Good Sequel to good series
Disadvantages: Slightly Repetitive, Not certain about 'Massively Multiplayer'

...This Shall Form The First Part Of A Multi-Part Review So, I should probably start out by stating the situation I'm in. I played WarCraft way back when. So it was inevitable therefore, that, having played all three RTS WarCraft games, and StarCraft, that I should be interested in WoW. However, strange fate should have it that I didn't sign up to WoW until some years after it's inception. So I'm going to give a blog of my WoW experience. I've decided to write a review of my new player experience from the point of view of someone who starts, like me, a couple of years too late. Now, it should also be explained that I have come from EVE. For those of you who don't know, EVE is a niche MMO that prides itself on being different. I will not say better or worse overall, but different. As with all games, the royal we becomes bored... Read review

RETURN TO WARCRAFT
Review of WarCraft 2 (PC) by  Puma1000

Advantages: Good Storyline, Great Multiplayer!
Disadvantages: Dated Graphics (Warcraft 3's available)

...---Overview--- Warcraft 2 is a militaristic real time strategy computer game (RTS) where extensive use of the mouse is needed, wherby you use the mouse pointer to construct buildings, control troops and destroy your enemy. For those of you who have never played Warcraft it is set in a medieval type era and the basic story is of two races, humans and orcs (with a little help from other creatures like elves and dwarfs) who are locked in a destructful battle for supermacy. Your aim is to play as one of these species and achieve domination. Where Warcraft 2 succeeds is in providing an interesting balance of resource collection, races that are disinct and seperate enough not to be deemed the same race with different faces and a sense of actually achieving a military tactic which you feel is your own. ---Single Player--- In single... World of Warcraft
Review of World of Warcraft (PC) by  ken_lee

Advantages: Huge world to explore, with numerous adventures
Disadvantages: Very addictive gameplay

...One amongst a number of MMORPGs available at the moment, World of Warcraft certainly beats them all. Games such as Guild Wars, Everquest and Ultima jsut cannot compete with World of Warcraft's stunningly addictive gameplay and superior features. For anyone who doesn't know, MMORPG stands for Massive multiplayer online roleplaying game and that's exactly what it is. A massive online world which millions of people regularly enter to embark on adventures as they slash their way through hordes of enemies and fight enormosuly powerful villains in a fantasy world populated by a myriad of races-humans, elves, dwarves, orcs, etc. However World of Warcraft is not just about killing enemies, there are numerous side quests as well as professions in which you can earn money. After all weapons and armour costs money. What is most exciting... Read review

Warcraft111: the Frozen Throne expansion set
Review of Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne (PC) by  flying_fool

Advantages: lasts for ages and ages, very tactical, great fun and easy to use!
Disadvantages: none that i can think of, its perfect!

...This expansion set to Warcraft: reign of Chaos has everything for a long, fun, durable game. It has one of the longest storylines in any RPG (role-playing game) on the computer known to existance, with a very good online play feature. there are 4 main races: human, undead, night elf and orc. these are the main races you play as, but in the storyline, you get a chance to see and use different races, such as blood elves, draeni and naga (if you are a fan of world of warcraft, you would know that the blood elf and draeni races have been added on the expansion, world of warcraft: the burning crusade). The expansion also offers about 15 new heroes, 1 new one per race and a lot in \'taverns\', which are dotted around on certain maps. You can create your own maps, and if you are a beginner you can simply play against a bot on a choson map... Read review

Warcraft...Let the fight begin!
Review of WarCraft 3 - Preview (PC) by  Mr.SB

Advantages: Immersive story line, great game play, large amount of units and spells
Disadvantages: Slightly outdated, not too great graphics nowadays

...Warcraft III, created by blizzard. Blizzard is now a renowned games developer who gave us the lights of diablo series, starcraft series, world of warcraft and ofcourse warcraft series. Warcraft III is based upon an epic story. It begins with the humans who have been plagued by the plight of the orcs who continue to attack their lands and pillage their towns.
