...This is a review on the expansion pack to one of Koei's newest saga's called Samurai Warriors Xtreme Legends, though the name is quite deceiving as in fact there are no Xtreme or Legends mode in this game unlike the Dynasty Warriors Xtreme Legends, but the enhancements they have made with the expansion pack is still good enough to have a play. Produced by W-Force and created by Koei, this is one game that you do not want to miss out on if you are a fan of the Sengoku Muso era. So, some of you now are probably wandering what is Samurai Warriors? Well it is set in ancient Japan, where clan's have formed to try and gain control of the land and become the sole ruler of it for either peace or to cause more chaos. ...The Dynasty Warriors series continues with this newest edition, Dynasty Warriors 5. Each of the Dynasty Warriors games are very much the same as each other, with subtle changes and extras. General Overview The storylines as you would expect are very similar to those of the earlier games, with the battles having the same ideas from the previous games. However each character has their unique musou storyline. Meaning that you may do the same maps as another character, due to being in the same dynasty, but the storyline will fit itself around your character in particular. Characters will even have their own unique cut scenes and ending cinematic which look quite impressive at times too. Advantages: Fantastic action movie, strong cast, excellent story, exceptional character interaction.
Disadvantages: The movie was edited/cut to pieces - cant wait for the Directors cut version.

...I was completely blown away when I first saw this movie, what started out as an adventure movie about a group of Norsemen and an Arab turned into an amazing story about how a group of very strong and unconventional warriors, meet on the journey of life and join forces to defeat an inhuman enemy on the adventure of a life time. Everything about this movie is fantastic from the choice of actors, some famous and some unknown, their acting and portrayal of a warrior race ( the Norsemen ) that is very much at odds with what we think we know or have been told about them and the very story itself, the defeat of a sick, perverse pagan religious cult who commit human sacrifice and cannibalism. Although there is lots of action and fighting in the film, this is not the main element of why I recommending it, the real bonus and must see... Read review

...This review is about Samurai Warriors for the Playstation 2. It is made by the same creators of Dynasty Warriors 4 and Romance of the three kingdoms VIII. Koei is the creator, and they are brilliant to make such a game like this. This game is about controlling empires to take out other empires, and take revenge on past experience. Very fun to play, nice to kill the enemy without feeling guilty. Samurai Warriors has many characters, well has 15, and they all have their own special abilities, and have different storylines to match. There are many levels that once unlocked from story mode; you get to play them in free mode. Which you are able to train your characters up, to make it easier to defeat the enemy. When you complete a mission, you get skill points which enable you to learn skills, like double jump, or when near death attack... Read review

...The Warriors, set in the late 70's sees unity of gangs who outnumber the police 5 to 1 in New York City. They plan on running the town together as one due to their enormous size, however, the leader in charge of this is murdered, and the Warriors get blamed. They lose their leader and so tension is brought between the second in command and a hard nut soldier ( well he thinks he's hard ) The warriors must go on the run within the urban jungle, fighting to save their lives and their gang members. They learn the meaning of true loyalty. My View The storyline to the film is great, it depicts the meaning of gang warfare and consolidates this action very cleverly into one night. I was pretty amazed with the actors and with them getting their feelings across to the audience; sometimes I actually felt as if I was in the film... Read review

...Isaw The Warriors afer playing the game and was intrigued that there was a film on it. Sadly, the film was as flimsy as the game itself though perhaps I am being overly critical on two counts: 1) I am watching this film which was made in the 70's (and sadly it shows) and 2) I had my own gang. The film starts off with a pretty cool theme song and we are introduced to the main players of the film, the Warriors a small-time group of desperadoes from Coney Island who have managed to get themselves to an invite from the leader of the biggest gang in the city the Gramercy Riffs with the intention of creating a general truce between all 70,000 soliders of the night. Unluckily, a rogue gang called suprisingly enough the Rogues shoots the Cyrus during mid-flow and then blame it on the Warriors. Framed for a muder that they did not commit... Read review
