Advantages: Interesting reconstruction and some great pieces of art on show
Disadvantages: Staff not over helpful and a bit like visiting a mausoleum

Warsaw's oldest park
Advantages: Central location, ducks, lake and willow trees
Disadvantages: Gets really busy in summer, too middle class
...Ogrod Saski, Saski Gardens or Saski Park as we call it is a funny old place. When I first moved to Warsaw it was probably the second park I visited and I remember seeing lots of Mallard ducks sat in a row at the entrance. Snow was on the ground and they did look a sorry sight, like little old ladies cuddled up to each other to keep warm.
I have visited the park several times since...

An Evening in Warsaw
Advantages: Great Staff. Nice evening.
Disadvantages: Toilets and unfinished wall fittings.

During a recent overnight trip to Warsaw for a friends birthday we took a visit to a small pub called Karmnik.
Karmnik is located in the Old Town area of the city on ul. Piwna 4a, this is a small side street leading off the main square of the Old Town. The pub is well signed so you shouldn't have too much difficulty finding it.
