Warsaw's Royal star Attraction

Advantages: Interesting reconstruction and some great pieces of art on show
Disadvantages: Staff not over helpful and a bit like visiting a mausoleum

...On the south side of the Old Town in Warsaw lies the monumental red brick building known as the Royal Castle. The building which has been reconstructed in minute detail and has been enrolled on the UNESCO World Heritage List along with the Old Town totally dominates this part of the Old Town. Having waked past the castle on numerous occasions and visited the magnificent interiors at least three...

Advantages: Central location, ducks, lake and willow trees
Disadvantages: Gets really busy in summer, too middle class

...were wondering, the English translation of Zlote Deby is ?Golden Oaks?. LOCATION 9 / 10 One guest?s meat is another?s poison in such matters, so I can only judge this one from the perspective of our own needs. Unlike Krakow for instance, the attractions of Warsaw are spread out across this sprawling, mostly modern, city. Travelling from Mielec in the south east of Poland, we had little...
