My New Tumble Dryer Balls

Dryer Balls tumble around with your clothing as it is drying, they lift and separate the clothes as they dry thus reduce the static build up and the little nodules on the balls massage the fibres of your clothing making them softer and fluffier. My Findings When I first opened the Dyer Balls and took them from the packet I was really quite surprised at how hard and solid they felt, I had imagined them to be soft, this made me very nervous at the thought of putting them in the dryer with my washing, I thought I might be opening up the dryer to find my washing all ripped up! Nevertheless I was intrigued to find out what these balls could do for my washing, so the first time I used them I decided to put them in with 3 pairs of jeans. Denim jeans I thought would stand up better to the dryer...

FANCY A QUICK TUMBLE...

Advantages: No need for a vent. Dries laundry well and has a sensor.
Disadvantages: Generates a lot of heat. Not the most compact model in the world.

Grumble Tumble

Advantages: easy to use controls, attractive silver finish
Disadvantages: unreliable

...special settings for silks and woolen items, and the drum size is quite generous. Also, with no bulky fume pipe to trail outside I found the installation to be fairly easy. However, reliabilty should be a key factor when buying appliances, of course nothing lasts forever but i feel that this product hasnt really given me good value for money. If you have the room then i would definitely recommend opting for a seperate washing machine and tumble dryer. If not then consider all the options before buying this machine. I would be interested to hear if other people have experienced similar sorts of trouble with Hotpoint products...

Tesco Bounce Out The Competition

Advantages: Does what it says on the tin. Almost a quarter of the price of the "named" brand.
Disadvantages: Nothing of any note. The box is not as robust as its more famous counterpart.

I eventually found what I was instructed to retrieve ? an attractive looking yellow box of ?Bounce Summer Breeze? ? but baulked when I saw the £3.37 price tag. I had a vague idea of what tumble dryer sheets were supposed to do (make your clothes smell nice at an educated guess) so when I spotted a plainer and slightly less loud blue box of Tesco ?Summer Fresh? Tumble Dryer Sheets next to it for the more reasonable and miserly sum of £0.94, common sense kicked in and I plumped for the "value" alternative. USE & PERFORMANCE This is simplicity itself. ...the start button again when you have finished to resume the countdown. The final button is the start/pause button. Unlike the 5 other buttons this one is on its own to the right of them. After selecting the program and functions you want press this button to start the machine. The light above this button flashes before you press it to remind to that you need to press it to start the machine. Above the buttons is the digital display. Creda T520VW tumble dryer

Advantages: Easy to use, looks good, wont break the bank

...The T520 VW is a great tumble dryer. It is incredibly easy to use, with only one button and one "clock like" dial. The single button is used to select low or high heat.....and the rotating "clock like" dial to select the time desired for drying. ( Time goes from 0 to 120 mins). It is quiet, and has a reasonably large capacity and also boasts an "anti-tangle"claim. The white plastic fascia near the top of the dryer that houses the button and dial hasn't appeared to have discoloured over time....(unlike our washing machine which we've had for the same amount of time), and with the word "simplicity" embellished next to the creda logo, it really does sum up this item for itself. Simple to use, reasonably modern looking, won't discolour, and would easily fit into anyones kitchen or utility room or anywhere around the house for that matter...

The ease of a washer/dryer

Advantages: wash and dry in one go! Easy to set, wide ranging choice of programmes

...I have recently purchased this machine and am a first time user of the washer/dryer style machine! I find that although it takes a while to boil wash, overall the machine is efficient and easy to operate, although i find the dryer a little slower than my old traditional seperate dryer, the ease of programming the machine to wash then dry means if im out, when i return home, its all done, no loading and unloading two machines......as machines go this one is very fairly priced and a good buy! I invested in a product repair/replacement plan also, just in case, so i am not worried about breakdown, but as of yet, the machine is serving me very well! I am a happy customer and would recommend this machine to anyone with a busy lifestyle!...
