...This product is a helpful and much needed design though the one i have has a few technical disadvantages. The capacity is small, only holding 500ml. This isn't so helpful if outon long walks as it will run out in no time. If you can find bigger models it would be better. The resevoir the water colects in can be a little awkward for the dog to drink from, it's shape and high sides making it impossible for larger dogs to finish off all the water. Also the holes the water comes out from at the bottom of the bottle are either too small (making the water drip out at 1ml/hour) or too big (the bottle leaks when carrying it). The idea is very useful when out on walks and will usually come with a strap which makes carrying it easy. A few technical difficulties thoughi'm sure people can get around these....

...! The bottles consist of: a bottle cap, a teat, the bit the teat goes in, a travel cap, a green vacuumy thing, the tube that goes to the bottom of the bottle and the actual bottle. First job was to wash all these things in warm soapy water and sterlise them. Washing the bottles does take longer than normal bottles obviously as there are more parts but they are not difficult to do. They come with a tiny brush for cleaning the small tubing parts and I bought some special foam teat and bottle brushes too. As there are so many parts it can be hard to cram into your steriliser but I normally manage to fit all the parts of the four bottles I have in my 6 bottle microwave steriliser. This is what I usually do. I clean the cap and the teat with the little teat sponge I have and put these in the sterliser as I go along. I clean the bit the teat goes...

Make Your Own Bottled Water At No Cost At All

...Having written an opinion on tap water a few months ago it became apparent from the comments I received that many people still purchase vast amounts of bottled water, with some brands charging extortionate prices. As mentioned in that opinion I have always preferred tap water although I always filter it first, to make it as pure as possible. Kenwood make a range of water filters in different sizes and colours, but on the whole they all do the same thing as they use the same cartridges. For your benefit, the model I have, and therefore on which this opinion is based, is the WF93. The water filter is transparent with a white lid, spout and filter dish. The filter dish and the jug both have a maximum capacity of 1.1 litres, which means that you can?t over fill the jug. This capacity isn?t very big but sufficient for my partner...
