"Two Squirrels in a Fountain"

...I love water features and during a visit to my local garden centre this January I couldn't resist one called "Two's Company". It had a little red squirrel either side of a tree trunk on the edge of a tiny "pool", I just fell in love with it and had to buy it. It wasn't cheap at a cost of £89, but as I had just had a Birthday and "money presents" amounted to £70, I didn't hesitate. When I got home I couldn't wait to put it together. The weather was cold and wet outside so I decided, against my husbands wishes, to assemble it in the conservatory, just to see if it worked properly, well that's what I told my husband, I really wanted to see if it looked good in there rather than in the garden. The water feature came complete and all that was required was to fill it with water and connect the pump. It stands 19.1/2" at it...

Water, Water, Everywhere

Advantages: Psychologically scary, strong performances from key cast members.
Disadvantages: Too many characters are introduced, the ending is a little silly.

...Walter Salles 2005 film 'Dark Water' is dark and mysterious, a truly chilling remake of Hideo Nakata's Japanese horror film which was originally released in 2002. It's an interesting concept that Walter Salles should take on a film of this sort, he'd previously had success with the film 'The Motorcycle Diaries' but 'Dark Water' is really something far different than this. What's more is that this is a major American remake and yet Walter Salles himself is Brazilian. Although this was not a predictable film for Walter Salles to have taken on, what I will say is that he has done an excellent job here and successfully directed a brilliant horror film. Pure Glacial Waters from a Fjord in my Fridge

I've already mentioned that the picture on the box was what attracted me to this filter jug but on closer inspection, it's even better than I had anticipated. The jug itself is made of sturdy clear plastic which means you can easily see how much water is left at any time. The filter part is a dark charcoal grey and the lid is a sleek metallic grey which should compliment most kitchens.
