Goodbye wavy hair!

...I have always had very thick, wavy hair. I've been told by many a girl that I'm so lucky, that they'd kill to have hair like me, but personally I've always found it a bit of a pain. Drying my hair takes forever, as does styling, and if there is a single drop of humidity in the air, hours of hard work can quickly turn into a frizzy, wavy mess. As I said earlier my hair is thick and coarse, it also has a bit of a wave to it which is hard to control If I don't straighten it, it just looks a mess. Using this balm it was 75% straighter but I still had to use my ceramic straighteners. After using my straighteners alone, my hair quickly begins to get wavy again in damp or hot weather. Naturally wavy

Advantages: Boost your curls girls!
Disadvantages: Don't apply too much-crispy curls!!

...curls are more managable, with less frizz. It doesn't take away all the frizziness unfortunately, so I usually put this into my damp hair before I go to bed, put my hair in a plait and when I wake up I have really nice curls, with no frizz and a really natural look. It doesn't look like I have any mousse in my hair, just have naturally wavy hair which I like. I find this is the best way to use the product, and I will definately be taking it on holiday with me for this reason as it just makes my curly hair more managable. However I advise the use of a taming serum before or after the use of the mouse, just for some extra control. Overall I really like this mousse, and of all the mousses I have tried, this is the one I am going to stick with. It is a really good price and does everything I need it to. ...I have wavy hair, it's not exactly straight and not curly either, and it's quite difficult to style. I've tried several straightening conditioners, along with brushing and blow drying, which can result quite time consuming. When I saw this leave in cream, I thought it was quite a good idea, first because it sounds faster than the whole process of using a traditional conditioner, and second because if you leave it in your hair, and it sounds like it's going to be more efficient with the combing and styling. I think it is important to say that it must not be used in large quantities because as any cream in can end up greasy. I use something like a walnut size amount (pretty much what is stated on the bottle) and apply it on throughout the length, then I comb it and dry it, when it's almost dry I comb it in the shape it, part it etc...

Would recommend for wavy hair.

Advantages: It left my hair feeling really healthy. Defined my hairs natural movement.
Disadvantages: Felt slightly crispy whilst my hair was stil a bit damp. But this wore off once it dried.

...I have slightly thick and wavy hair. I have trouble finding the correct product to smooth it as it tends to be quite coarse. I bought this product for my dad as part of a christmas present as he used mousse to smooth his hair back whilst drying. It cost aound £1.80. I also invested in the hairspray from the same range which I have not tried yet. I was tempted to try it although I realise it was not designed for wavy or curly hair. I am unsure of the results when using on straight or very curly hair. However on my hair type my hair wasleft feeling conditioned, thick and healthy. My waves defined. Would definately recommend. Fantastic!...

GHD MK4 The daddy of straighteners!!

Advantages: Heat up quickly, Turn themselves off, Keeps hair straight
Disadvantages: Dont last a lifetime

...I have used GHD irons ever since they came out years ago. They are the best thing for people with hair like mine (frizzy, curly, hard to straighten). They heat up within seconds and unlike the old model the new MK4 model actually turns its self off after half an hour, which is never a bad thing! As a hairdresser i use these day in day out on clients and myself and am never disappointed with the results. Be it curly, straight or wavy you can create all these looks with GHD's. Although they do not last forever, i have had too many pairs to count! But GHD do not fail us here, if you pop in to a salon that sell GHD's they will have a free post bag which you can send off and GHD will either send you a new pair or ix your current pair. So although expensive they really are worth the money....

Babyliss 230 - GHD quality for half the price!

Advantages: Heats up very quickly, very effective, has own case

...'s best to use a heat protective spray (I use treseme). I then seperate my hair into sections and straighten each section at a time, and then go over it all again at the end. Now, my hair is very thick and wavy and usually takes ages to straighten, but with these it does it very quickly. Overall it takes about 15 minutes to get it straight where as before it would take at least half an hour. It also stays straight throughout the day (unless it's really windy and it goes a bit wavy!). I highly reccomend these hair straightners as they are great value and leave your hair looking smooth and of course straight. 10/10 in my opinion...
