Trust Webcam - Great for the price!

Advantages: The price of the product is great at £9.99
Disadvantages: Adjusting the focus is difficult and I broke the headphones as there werent clear instructions

...I first brought this product for £9.99 in a somerfield store when thier new Robert Dyas section was built. I believed that I had a good bargain because webcams appear to be all the range these days and it seems I was right. After taking the webcam out of the box, I installed it on my PC and away I went. The webcam focuses well and the settings can be adjusted by using the softwares easy to use interface. If you require more focusing there is also a dial on the face of the webcam whichs allows you to do so. To show that the webcam is turned on, A little blue light is positioned just below the lens. Also with this webcam there were a pair of headphones, Which although looked good at first, happened to break after I tried putting them on. Perhaps clearer instructions on the box or in the manual may have prevented the disaster from happening...

At the time of purchase I managed to buy a twin set of these camera's for approximately £12 - pretty good value for money, so good in fact that I gave the spare one to my brother for free. Although generally in Windows XP the drivers may install automatically, it also comes with a drivers disc to avoid problems installing them. The installation process is simple enough. A blue LED at the base of the lens tells you when the camera is active. The camera measures about 6 x 4 cm (not including the base). Dexxa Webcam: Is it Worth The Money?

...unfortunately doesn't have a built in microphone this particular one I bought for £20 which now I look back and thought what a rip-off because you can better now and then. -*-*- Now you have purchased the cam?-*-*- When I purschesed this webcam I got it in a box with an instillation CD which guided me through the step by step instructions and was very helpful for a beginner the web cam is USB1 so it fits most if not all PC's. And it is compatible with all Windows operating systems 95+ (Windows 95, 98, NT, 2000, ME and XP.) Once you have initialised the CD then it comes inn your systray this consists of the settings (where you can adjust the brightness, contrast etc.) and it gives you your photo album (where you can view your saved photos and videos) and a camera where you can take photos and videos. ...I bought this webcam about a year and a half ago and it is still going strong. The packaging was great! The box was very sturdy and everything was included. The webcam came with a disc for installing it and full instructions, making it extremely easy for me to install and use. Exellent for those of us who get confused with technology! The webcam is easily plugged in and unplugged into a USB port and you do not need to do anything every time you plug it back in. It cost me about £10 and for the money is a great deal. The picture quality is good, although not as good as some more expensive models, which can only be expected at the price!
