...This BBQ is so much more better than any gas or electric BBQs because of the use of the char coal. It leaves a better and cleaner taste, than gas or electric BBQs because some gas BBQs gives a gas taste in your foods and it can be toxic! Electric BBQs just simply have no taste at all! That way in my point of view, i always use the Weber One Touch Silver BBQ! It can be long lasting for at least three or four years, and it is easy to clean and easy to put away for non BBQ seasons! It has a lid with an adjustable vent to control the amount of smoke and heat, and the same thing on the bottom of the BBQ. This can also be useful to use as a heat source on cold summer nights with your friends at a party in stead of a camp fire and it is much more safer than a camp fire too! I think this BBQ is so great because it cooks my meals fast...

...The Weber One Touch Silver is pretty much the entry level range of Weber 's BBQ range. I have bought one of these barbecues from www.dawsonsdepartmentstore.co.uk and it came with a free Weber BBQ cover. Weber have called this bbq "One Touch" as inside the bbq are blades which can be turned, using a handle on the outside, to push ash through holes in the base of the bbq into the ash catcher. Thus the One Touch Cleaning system. The difference between the One Touch Silver and One Touch Gold is the ash catcher. On the One Touch Silver the ash catcher is open (the disc at the bottom in the picture), this needs to be emptied every time the bbq is used as the ash can be blown around and can get into the eyes of children and guests if its windy. Barbecue Convert - Thanks to the Weber Gold BBQ

Advantages: Superb results, Easily moved around, lots of accessories
Disadvantages: Grill size / shape - means it's difficult to fit in the sink to clean

...I have always been adamant that I do not like barbecued food. My previous experiences had been charcoaled sausages - black on the outside, raw in the middle. All other food crisp with a charred flavoured seasoning. YUCK! Same universe, new players, new war?

Advantages: An entertaining read. Start of a new series.
Disadvantages: Some people will be put off by the science fiction label

...the 'Star Wars' films were entertaining and had dramatic CGI for the space battles, but these were 20th century naval and aero battles transposed into space and had nothing to do with the reality of actual space combat. Yes, I know we haven?t actually done any space combat yet but Newton?s Laws will apply. Space is vast and its going to take time, lots of time followed by a very short, intense period of sheer terror during the actual exchange of fire between space ships. Not every author gets the dynamics of such right. In many cases it doesn't matter for the drama of the story. But in some it does matter. Here we have a book written in a third person style. You are given a multitude of viewpoints to follow the various actions and interactions between the characters and events. Mr Weber has a very good eye for the details of these...

Don't just get even, Get mad and even!

Advantages: A very entertaining read.
Disadvantages: Won't appeal to everybody

...the fault of those who have to carry out the orders; they misunderstood or need more training or something. So a ship and a captain are an embarrassment to the seniors. Answer; shove them in some hell hole duty station. What this does to the morale of a company is not their problem. Everybody always blames the Captain. What is a captain to do? Well some will just sit it out and wait for relief. The better ones will keep trying to their duty to the best of their ability and can turn around a case of bad morale by their own competence and personality. Here It has been said that David Weber is the successor to the Horatio Hornblower stories. Personally I like those by Alexander Kent, but that is another story. There are many similarities between the water/sail navy and any proposed space navy. Similar problems lead to similar solutions...

...objective, to restore humanities rightful place in the cosmos and it has a clever and cunning plan. It first must wait a thousand years before it can initiate it. A great read and a true page turner, you will not be able to put it down. The writing is inventive and crisp. I will look for Mr Weber books again. The ending and how you get there is cleverly written and hidden along the way are a few surprises. A highly recommended book. Written by David Weber....

As with any tale there is always a beginning and the beginning of the Honor Harrington Saga is a stunning example of how to begin. It is a an excellent start to a series (He is, I believe, writing the ninth at the moment) that has given me a great amount of joy over the last year since I discovered the wonders of David Weber?s heroine and it has been, to me, a travesty that the series has not caught on over here in Britain.
