...My friend bought me Burberry Weekend for my birthday about 2 years ago and I have been hooked on it ever since! Packaging I would describe the packaging for Burberry Weekend are being quite summary. The bottle comes in a pale yellow box which is decorated with the Burberry hatching. Across the front of the box Burberry Weekend in white italic writing. The bottle itself has a circular top, but obviously has a flat bottom. The bottle looks quite chunky and rounded. The glass is frosted white but only slightly so you can still see how much fragrance you have left. The lid to the bottle is silver and has the Burberry logo printed on the very top of it. The famous Burberry hatching runs around the outside of the bottle in white and Burberry Weekend is also written in white italic writing across the bottle. Price As I mentioned...

Something For The Weekend...!!

Advantages: Lovely smell, quite cheap compared to other brands
Disadvantages: Smell doesn't last as long as some others.

...I first smelt Burberry Weekend while I was shopping at Bluewater in the perfume shop. I didn't buy it because I was Christmas shopping and didn't have the money spare. Burberry for the weekend

Advantages: Pleasant enough fragrance, not too strong

...A neighbour recommended I try Burberry perfume - And no, it wasn't a hint that I wasn't smelling my best. It was just that I'd told him about my continuing hunt for a daytime perfume -honest! ...I received a DVD in a jiffy bag recently opened the bag carefully and put the bag ready to reuse with about 20 other old jiffy bags I have ready for recycling. Actually I am not sure that all of them are genuine jiffy bags but they are the same sort of thing. Jiffy bags made by Jiffy have been available for several years now I think they go back to the 1950?s. Jiffy bags are handy padded envelope bags that can be bought in a variety of sizes some as small as to 164 x 285mm, then several sizes upwards to 247 x 387mm, probably even larger ones available. The original bag is a golden brown heavy duty paper. The padded filling can be as simple as shredded paper. A weekend and a half.........

My Weekend !

...time they take boots off then go upstairs, wash and change....wow !!!! "As it's Mother's Day we thought we'd give you a rest from cooking and have a take away curry", said Ian, my partner....loosely translated this means, "We do not think we could bear another burnt offering!". No problem, curry is my favourite, at this point I get up and feed the cat, he has just taken a chunk out of my big toe !! There really is no more to tell, put my son to bed at 8pm, fix his school bag for the morning, settle in front of the telly with a bottle of wine....partner passes out and I spend the rest of night into the small hours on Ciao updating my alerts. Vampire Weekend have a bit of bite to them

...I might be a bit of a Brit pop babe and really love my quirky, little known Scottish indie bands but lately I have been seeking inspiration from across the pond. Recently there have been a number of bands from the good old US of A that have impressed me such as the Hold steady, The Gaslight Anthem and the subject of this review Vampire Weekend . Vampire Weekend are a quartet that hail from New York state and released their eponymous debut album in 2008. I discovered them when their catchy single ?Oxford Comma? was played extensively on XFM. Their name may suggest a goth or emo band but they are far from this. There are certainly no overwrought, gloomy dark lyrics here. Vampire Weekend: The Debut Album

Advantages: Uplifting and puts you in a good mood!
Disadvantages: only disappointing song was "One"

...Vampire Weekend, a band from New York, started out in 2006 and released a few songs but this album which is their debut album was not released until January 2008. I bought this album two weeks ago and have listened to it a number of times and really enjoyed it. The music is uplifting and easy to listen to. The genre of music is quite a mix its mainly indie with some uplifting afro beats. With one song even reminding me very much of a traditional Slovenian dance I saw! Some of the lyrics are a little bizzare but it all adds to the individuality and uplifting style brought to the album by the band. The songs on the album are as follows: 1.
