credit crunch?: A total waste of money

Advantages: It may give you the confidence to do the exercise
Disadvantages: Expensive gimmick, you don't need one to do the exercise intended

...I feel I'm being a bit negative today in my reviews of fitness equipment, but this is another needless piece of equipment that somehow has managed to find its way into every gym and home in Britain. Surely that means its doing its job well right? Well I fear its been marketed well as opposed to actually performing the task in hand as well as it says it does. My biggest problem here is the fact that the maker of the machine make outlandish comments about how you will end up with a washboard stomach etc etc etc Here's what they say...... ...Abs :~ Strong abs are essential for preventing lower back injuries, posture and good core stability. Just because you cannot see a six pack does not mean you do not have strong abs. Unless you go on a low fat diet and lose lots of body fat and exercise most people will never achieve that wash board stomach. Spaced: The gretest comedy in recent years

Advantages: hilarious, brilliantly written, superbly directed, surreal, cult comedy

Creatine does it work.

Advantages: Creatine monohydrate, increased strength and muscle size
Disadvantages: A little pricey

...monohydrate produced by weider, which was sold in the 200g tubs. I'm not sure how much it costs, as I mentioned I had mine cheap. The Iron man creatine mentioned, provided the only ingredient is creatine monohydrate, will work in the same way. Creatine is creatine despite what the adverts try to tell us. The size gains produced by creatine however do not last. The body transforms creatine monohydrate into creatine phosphate. This is eventually used up to build ATP (The bodies energy currency). Thus the creatine in the muscle, which gives added size is eventually depleted. The ability to push your limits will however result in extra muscle mass being built to compensate for this. If anyone is out there wondering if this stuff really works then try it. I think you may be pleasantly surprised....
