Weight Watchers

Advantages: fun, easy, no banned foods
Disadvantages: none in my opinion

...To be perfectly honest this is my second time at joinng weight watchers. First time round I joined in Jan 2006, I had a baby in August 2005 and wanted to lose weight, I wasnt motivated and I didnt stick to the plan at all, half time I skipped meals and didnt eat somedays at all, but this time I am motivated and I have the support of my partner who is also a member. In order for this to work for you, you have to be strict and totally honest with yourself, otherwise, the weight you lose wont stay off and more than likely you'll end up putting more on that you had to start with. Weight Watchers, without leaving the house.

Advantages: Don't have to leave your house to attend meetings and weigh-ins, and no further cost once purchased.
Disadvantages: Learning to put willpower into practice!

Weight Watchers - Eat chocolate AND loose weight? Surely not

Advantages: easy to use website, easy to do plan, affective
Disadvantages: the online plan is rather expensive

...for later in the week if you have something coming up (a meal out for example). So far I have found it so easy and it's great fun tracking all your points. And the thing I love the most about it is that I've been able to diet without changing my diet at all, I still eat everything I love - if I want to eat chocolate - I can! It's all about portion control & eating things in moderation which we can all benefit from. The only downside I would say is that the subscription is quite pricey. There are different packages, but the one I signed up to was £49.95 for the first 3 months and then a direct debit of £9.95 a month thereafter... Which for just access to a website, seems quite a lot. Therefore I do weight watchers the old fashioned way now my free trial is over -books/ pen/paper/weight watchers POINTS ® calculator! But thats my choice...

...of this section is the 'workouts' section which shows different exersizes to target different parts of the bodies. *SUCCESS STORIES* This is a fantastic section. It contains stories and pictures of people for who the weight watchers diet has been a great success. I find this area (as well as the message boards) a great source of motivation whenever im about to reach for the ice cream or the cheese. This section also gives you an opportunity to share your success story. Hopefuly at some point in the future i will be able to enter my story. *SHOP* In the weight watchers shop you can buy chocolate bars, books, scales and other tools to help your weight watchers diet be it's most successful. The darker side of Weight Watchers
