Stay in Ancient Wells

Advantages: Amazing period features, friendly staff, great food, four-poster bed
Disadvantages: Could be expensive, not much parking, small beds

...A few weeks ago we were lucky enough to have a wedding to go to in Wells, Somerset. I'd never been to Wells before and I was impressed with what a lovely place it was. Not only does it boast a beautiful cathedral, it also has a very impressive bishop's keep surrounded by a mote. Prices and Booking As the wedding was quite early in the morning we decided to go down the night before and stay in a hotel or a B&B so that we'd have time enough in the morning to get up and get ready. So we looked on the internet and it turned out that everything was pretty expensive. We tried looking up a hotel that was right next to the cathedral just to see what kind of prices it charged and it seemed as though it was going to cost us over £100 per night. Advantages: Leaves a lovely finish on the skin.

This is a great blush for everyday use because it is a subtle colour, giving a hint of pink to the cheeks, so it can compliment most make up styles. ?Well Dressed? is a pale pink, if you swipe your finger over the pressed powder then you get a small covering on pink, which is great because it means this is not at all overpowering on the cheeks. In fact I think it is practically impossible to mess the application of this blush up! This is a slight shimmer blush, when you move it in the light you can see some specs of sparkle, I?m hesitant to call it glitter because it is too fine, however it is important to note that this gives the blusher a slight light catching ability when being worn. Sleep well and be comfortable

Advantages: Comfortable, helps you get a good night's sleep
Disadvantages: Puts extra depth on to mattress

...for a while, it wasn't cheap, and at best it was only an addition to the bed I already had rather than a new mattress. However my existing mattress was firm enough anyway (if you have a bad back and your exisitng mattress isn't supportive there is little point in getting a mattress topper as they won't get to the root of the problem) so I took the plunge and bought one and a pillow to go with it. It was light enough and easy enough to carry home and it was well packaged. I was suprised to find on reading the instructions that you need to let it rest for a while after unpacking to let the foam relax. Mind you as I took off the plastic wrapping I could see why. The foam had been compressed by the packaging and whilst I could open it fairly easily it took a bit of 'coaxing' out of the folds caused by it being packed and it was several hours...

Wells Worth a Visit

Love Life at Living Well

Advantages: Get Fit, Keep Healthy, Make Friends and Chill Out

...can unwind in the jacuzzi. SAUNA/STEAM ROOM: Just next to the changing rooms are the single sex sauna and steam room. I absolutely love the steam room, not so keen on the sauna though it does seem to be very popular. They are not partucularly big, you could probably fit about 5 in each one. Towel hooks are provided outside, along with a separate shower. THE SHOWERS: There are about 8 shower cubicles so you can have some privacy. They provide you with shower gel, though I can't comment on it because I like to take my own. OTHER: After a hard work out you can go and relax in the health bar where they serve a variety of food and drinks. There are lovely big sofas and a tv if you don't fancy going home straight away.
