I personally always felt the wheel system on the older iPod was a touch difficult and not as slick as the adverts made out. The graphical and text based interface on this iPod is far better. The graphical view, which allows you to flick from album cover to album cover is very quick and visually interesting. Its great to hand this over to a friend and let them flick through your collection like vinyl covers. The sound quality is good both through headphones and via a radio transmitter for in the car, as I use it. If you do want to go down the radio transmitter route I would recommend an iTrip and the frequency 87...

I was blown away by this iPod!

Advantages: App store gives incredible range of featues, Great value for money
Disadvantages: Makes me want an iPhone for the 3g aspect

...There have been very few points in my life when a piece of technology has left me gobsmacked. The first time I returned from lunch to find my ZX Spectrum had managed to load a game, my first mobile phone, Satnav (in a negative sense) and this iPod. I was given this iPod as a wedding gift so it would be impossible for me to talk about where this item was purchased and rude to discuss the price (although I'm sure the wonderful web has a million and one places to buy it at a variety of prices). Teenage Quicks

Advantages: Quick paced, great for a children's book
Disadvantages: Might not appeal to everyone, too short!

iPhone 3G. What a phone!!!!!!

Advantages: Stylish, fast, too many applications and uses to name!!
Disadvantages: poor battery life on some applications, camera isnt great, no video.

...the camera isnt as good as most phones these days, and literally at the touch of the screen I can go to iTunes, YouTube, BBC iPlayer, eBay, Facebook or any of hundreds of other sites. I have apps giving me all the daily news I need, financial apps telling me whats happening in the stockmarket, a google mobile app with voice recognition etc etc. I can even programme by Sky TV when I'm not at home. I really cannot recommend this phone highly enough. All the major problems that initially pushed some people towards a Blackberry have now been sorted and I cant wait now to get my upgrade to the new 3Gs!!...

NOW That's What I Call........Dissapointing.

Advantages: A few good tracks.
Disadvantages: Too many bad tracks, poorly put together

...Now That's What I call The 80's was one of the cd's I found in my Christmas stocking this year, all my family knows I love cheesy 80's music so I wasn't surprised by this choice. Initially it seemed like a really good cd, at least on first appearances, part of the Now series and featuring one of my favourite musical decades you would think it could do no wrong, sadly there are too many flaws making this cd a major let down. Consisting of 3 discs and 60 tracks, with a wide range of the decade's finest (and admittedly not so fine) artists, this should have been possibly the greatest 80's compilation of all time. ...As most of you will know from reading my previous reviews, one of my great passions is music from then 80's which brings me on to Now That's What I Call The 80's. Ordinarily I don't tend to buy a large quantity of compilation albums because you tend to find that the same tracks appear on a small selection of albums so normally buying one or two of the same genre give you the majority of tracks anyway. However, generally that does not apply with this triple album.
