A Great DIGITAL Pregnancy Test!

...I started out buying just the standard Clearblue Pregnancy Test. I brought this one initially as it was cheaper than some of the others (£10 for 2 test sticks). Anyway I was 7 days late but suspected before this that I may be pregnant but wasn't too sure how long you are supposed to wait before you can do the test. When I read the box I found out I could of actually done the test on the first day my period was due, so I didn't actually need to wait this long at all. I had never taken a pregnancy test before but was very pleased to find that there were very clear instructions on the reverse of the packaging. The clear instructions were in 3 steps. ...most pregnancy tests available on the market these days do exactly the same as each other it is just that you pay a lot more for testers that tell you in words that you are pregnant or tell you that you are so many days pregnant, this in my opinion is a total waste of money when they all do the same job which is basically testing for an increase in a hormone in your urine, after all why pay £15 for a stick you are going to piddle on and throw away when you can get a very similar stick from your chemist for around £1 for a pack of two or 3 and are the exact same ones used by the nurse at your doctors surgery. Boots pregnancy test - very quick & accurate

Advantages: Easy to use, accurate, cheap

...These modern tests are done in exactly the same way as it would be if you'd had gone to your doctors - except now you can do it in the privacy of your own home and you don't have to wait weeks to find out the result! Perfect! I've never done a test until 11 weeks ago and I was so very nervous about doing a test for the first time. Especially as we'd planned a baby... just not this soon! The boots pregnancy test gave me an accurate result in just a few seconds. I actually took a second one just to be on the safe side. It too was positive, it couldn't be wrong! ...My hubby is a technology person, so finding a digital pregnancy test seemed perfect to appeal to him. It also felt more professional to me. We bought this test for the added accuracy. It also had the added bonus of being a renowned brand. The test can be bought in single, twin or triple packs. They work out much cheaper the more you buy. A second test is always necessary in case something goes wrong or you cannot believe your results. Each pack comes with a digital reader and test sticks (1, 2 or 3 depending on pack purchased). It also has a leaflet with easy to follow instructions. However, as anyone doing a test, being eager to see the results you skim through the leaflet. With this test don't. A Pregnancy Test for just £2.99

...I found this product in my local chemist. I waited until all the customers had left the shop and then asked for a pregnancy test. I don't know why I did this as I had a wedding ring on and a 19 month old in a pram with me! I had a choice of one of the regular branded pack of two pregnancy tests for £13.99 or this one for a 'special price' of £2.99 for one. ...When I first suspected I was pregnant I went to my local boots store to purchase a test & was surprised by how many different version you can buy. As I was unsure about which test to go for I decided to get the one I had herd of the most which was clearblue. It says on the box that it's 99% accurate so that swayed me as well. The test is a white stick with a cap on one end & the window which tells you if you are pregnant or not. You can either buy this item on its own or as a box with 2 tests wrapped separately (you also get instructions inside). Quite a few tests tell you to do them first thing in the morning but this one you can do at any time of the day. ...There are different pregnancy tests to use but the one that I bought was the Predictor pregnancy test. There was no particular reason apart from the fact this is the only one in the supermarket that they had. It comes in a white and pink box and the test is a foil wrapper so you know that it has not be tampered with in any way. The box gives you details of how to use the test and there is also instructions inside the box too. The test is white and plastic and is in 2 parts.
