DONT USE NORTHERN IRELAND RAILWAYS
Advantages: None
Disadvantages: Where do i start?
...informed that the train had broken down and that it was going to limp to Dundalk were we would be taken by bus to Portadown. After nearly two hours on the bus we finally got to Portadown.
If you are thinking about using Northern Ireland Rail - DONT! If the government want us to use public transport they will have to completely overall this network. As for me il be taking the car in future and using one of Dublin City Centre car parks and this would still be a hell of a lot cheaper than £110 it took for five of us to use the train!...

"A Great Country, just Pretending to be Small!"
Advantages: Friendly, Welcoming People
Disadvantages: Bleak Past
...?A Great Country, just pretending to be Small!?
I?m afraid I?m not sure who said that, but it sums up my opinion of Northern Ireland perfectly. Let me explain?
I?m Northern Irish. If I?m ever asked what my nationality is, I always say Northern Irish. According to the national census I?m in the minority. Tradition here in our country is to define yourself as either British or Irish according to your religious beliefs. Personally I?m very proud of where I?m from. I don?t want to be British, nor Irish. We have enough history to rightfully establish ourselves as a separate entity to either England or Ireland. And if anyone?s going to write a review on Northern Ireland, I reckon I might just be biased enough to make it sound like the most phenomenal place on earth! So, lets go with the hard sale?
Let us begin with a short journey back...

Where to watch birds in Scotland
Advantages: Lots of useful information
Disadvantages: Quite large and bulky, expensive
...Where to watch birds in Scotland by Mike Madders and Julia Welstead is part of the Where to Watch Birds guides that covers 21 different titles. Each of these books have different authors but they all follow the same format which has proved so successful that they are now amongst the best selling bird books ever published.
Where to watch birds in Scotland has been described as "The definitive guide to finding birds in Scotland" and first published in 1989 it is now in its fourth edition.
The book spans 297 pages and is arranged by region. As the title of the book suggests it covers 142 different locations across ten different Scottish regions. Each of the regional sections includes a map showing the different sites that are covered in that section.
It must be stated that this book is not an identification guide it is merely...

Pack Your Bags...Your Coming To Coleraine!
Advantages: Beautiful Scenery, great attractions! What more could you ask for?
Disadvantages: None what so ever
...accommodation is provided too, most of which have received the NI Board Awards for Standards of Service and Quality, together with numerous well equipped caravan and camping parks. All in all, the Coleraine promises you a warm welcome, as well as room to move and time to unwind.
With more and more shops becoming interested in the springing economy of Coleraine, it is fast becoming one of Northern Ireland’s best shopping spots, where believe me, you can really pick up some good deals.
Coleraine is a very quiet town, just missing city statis, with a great cinema, the Jet Centre. Even though it’s very quiet this does not stop it from having a lively night life, oh no, with various clubs and pubs in Coleraine you can really have a good time out, without worrying about getting your head kicked in by some drunkards.
How to get there: You can...

Way to go Ireland
Advantages: Exercised their rights to a referendum
Disadvantages: None that I can see at this time, seems to be a good choice.
...defence budget and several other important areas will be transferred to Brussels, and they will be dicated from there with no consideration for what affects the UK, rather an overall decision for Europe will be made. On this basis I don't agree with the treaty. For example Europe (i.e. Brussels) dictate how much we contribute to the Common Agricultural Policy (this costs us millions if not billions a year in taxes), yet our own farmers don't see much if any of that money. This seems to pretty much be the policy for treaty's these days for counties to sign away their rights for thier supposed common good. This is not the case local (i.e. UK or Ireland) governments need to have control over a great deal of the scopes Europe just want us to sign away, which in the greater schemem of things seems foolhardy and extremely foolish. I don't want laws...

Is it all it's craic-d up to be
Advantages: Beautiful scenery, lots to do
Disadvantages: you won't want to go home
...available for that too.
There are many National Trust owned properties in Northern Ireland, it would take all day to list them but if you go to the Trust’s web site you will find a list of all the places you can visit along with details on amenities etc. But it doesn’t really matter where you are, you’ll never be far from spectacular scenery, good food and company.
We also have some of the best trout and salmon fishing in the world in NI and I do know that some tour operators are selling fishing packages. Now to golf. We have dozens of golf courses among them Royal Portrush and Portstewart Golf Club. Less than five miles apart they are (apparently) the creme de la creme of golf courses. I don’t play myself but those who do never give over about how good they are.
I could wax lyrical all day about how...

London type hair salon, in rural N.Ireland!
Advantages: Stylish, good hairdressers, friendly
Disadvantages: Pricey for N. Ireland
...ones, but much cheaper (£25 for a wash, cut, blow dry in Shek, as opposed to £50-60 in my local London chain). Shek is also good about getting appointments with the person you want.
The haircutting I've received has been excellent. They have been helpful and given good advice, and I've always been more than satisfied. I've not had colouring done though, so can't comment on that yet.
There are lots of nice touches as well - free tea, coffee, biscuits while you are getting your hair done; staff who remember you from other visits, and ask after you. This again is an improvement on London where it seems to be hard to get the same person each time.
On the downside, this is undoubtedly pricey for Northern Ireland. Also, it is a bit chain - y, and for those people who like individualistic places it might seem a bit bland. Nevertheless...

Where shall I buy my cosmetics?
Advantages: Some cheap buys.
Disadvantages: Some obscure buys.
...bright, drawing attention to bargains. They are in differents sections, promising a wide variety of bargains, products, cosmetics. The other thing that attracted me to the site, is the free postage which is not conditional of spending a certain amount. Always a good thing to save money where ever possible. As with most websites, you log in to buycosmetics, click on what you want to buy and proceed to checkout. The postage is free, but you can pay if you require next day delivery. I have never done this as the free delivery time has always been good enough for me.
What do they offer?
* * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Buycosmetics offers, basically, cosmetics. They have quite a variety of items for sale, some which seem really weird, others the every day items in a female`s make up bag. Firstly, when you get on to the web site...

Beautiful location to visit
Advantages: Lots to do
Disadvantages: its rains quite a lot
...County Fermanagh is my own home county and let me take this opportunity to tell you how wonderful it is and about the loads you could do and visit while on a break here. Fermanagh is better known to many as the region in Northern Ireland known as The Lakelands. This beautiful county lies in the West of Northern Ireland.
The main feature of Fermanagh is it's large lake called Lough Erne. The lough provides tourist with numerous activities to do such as sailing, water skiing, jet skiing, canoeing, swimming, fishing as well as other activities. The jet ski championship are held in Fermanagh every year and attract a large number of tourists.
The county also has a lot of historical locations to visit such as Belleek Pottery, Enniskillen castle, Castle Coole, Florencourt House, Famine graveyard at Adress ( near the village of Kesh...

I only wanted to buy a car!
Advantages: Choice, worth it in the end, you can save lots of money
Disadvantages: Time consuming, challanging
...Buying a new car should a pleasurable experience, but for many it can be stressful & intimidating.
There is something special about owning a new car, choosing something that you have always wanted & getting that new car feeling, that new car smell (albeit the smell of plastic) & driving a car no one has driven before. That is except for the factory workers, test drivers, transporter drivers, garage mechanics & sometimes the handy man at the garage.
This is not a review on which new car to buy but a review on the likely pit falls when dealing with sales staff at franchised dealers. Having spent many years working at franchised dealers on the after sales side I have seen more than my fair share of questionable tactics played by sales staff in an attempt to sell cars.
