AKG K77 Wired Headphones

Advantages: Great sound quality and very comfortable.
Disadvantages: Fairly loose if you have a small head!

...I recieved these headphones for christmas this year and was very pleased. I have owned other AKG products before so I was hoping they would live up to my expectations. The quality of these headphones was very good and I was very pleased with the look of them. The sound quality was also very good as the bass realy comes through welland the sound is crystal clear. They are very comfortable and can be adjusted perfectly. My only complaint would be that they feel a little loose and fall of quite easily if you shake your head too much. Being closed back, while you are listening to music or something, there is virtualy no sound escaping for other people to hear. The support that you get from the company is very good as you can ask them anything via email. Overall, the headphones are very good for the ammount you will pay in most shops...

AKG K240 Studio Headphones

Advantages: Typical AKG bulid quality - sturdy, comfortable and brilliant sounding

Review of AKG K 240 DF

AKG Hearo 787 headphones

Advantages: signal quality, logic 7 decoder, comfortable and fairly nice to look at too
Disadvantages: cost

.... Of course you don't have to use logic 7, theres also prologic and stereo decoders too, but who would when you have logic 7!! They're also very comfortable, with an auto adjusting headband they don't slip off as you walk around. The battery life is excellent, easily coping with a couple of movies and more; its very easy to keep them topped up as they charge when you place them back in the cradle. In todays world of wireless this and wireless that, its easy to find 2 devices that interfere with each others signals; the AKG easily copes with this, with a convenient channel selector button on the headphones themselves. Perhaps the only real disadvantage of this system is that it is on the pricey side, so you would have to be a complete audio-obsessive to get them....

...Well Christmas Eve saw us left without a washing machine as ours decided that it wanted to pack up. This was a pain, as we wanted to get our last bit of washing done and out the way for the next day. Well we had to wait to get Christmas day out of the way and decided to wait till the sales got in full swing. Anyway it is now New Years Eve and there were plenty of places for us to look at now. Firstly we looked online to see what machines were on offer in the various stores, we looked at the usual, Dixons, Argos, Curry?s and Comet etc. Then we saw an ad on tv and went to the Miller Bros website to look the offer over. Our previous washing machine was also a Whirlpool and it lasted for about six years so we got a fair bit of use out of it. Rather than get it fixed and incur labour charges that can make up most of the bills we saw...

The following is a chronological list by date of what had transpired regarding our earnest attempts to have our oven repaired. Advantages: Queit, very good spin, good wash and overall excellent value!
Disadvantages: Can't really find one.

...A+ Energy efficiency, and while its only got a B rating on Spin, I do think it gives much better performance on that. Washing efficiency is given as A and I would agree with that one. Load weight is 5kg which is fairly standard for machines in this range. I had a Servis machine, and nothing but trouble from the moment we bought it. I have eventually relented and bought this Whirlpool as a direct replacement, costing £185-00 on offer from Co-op direct. I've immediately taken out the *8* year (yes, eight year) warranty for parts for just £25-00! Okay you still would have to pay for labour, but its pretty impressive to find a budget machine with such good warranty on its parts. It has done all we've asked of it so far - and is particularly quiet in operation, especially after the Servis machine I had. It has an anti-crease spin...

whirlpool awo/d4505 - brilliant!

...The whirlpool awo/d4505 is a fab washing machine! Altogether there are 4 of us in the house, and I have to do at least 2 loads a day! We have had the machine for 18 months now, and it has never had a problem. There are so many different cycles that you can always find one not only to suit your washing needs but also your timing too. My washing always comes out clean, smelling great - which isn't my experience with previous machines ive had. I use the brilliant 30 minute wash a lot. I have so much to get through, to be able to do a small load and have it drying is fantastic, rather than every load lasting a long time - especially with school uniforms that get yoghurt and paint down them and need to washed and dried by the next morning! (£170) Lets start with the technical stuff: Load capacity: 6kg Freestanding & vented Energy Efficiency: C Electronic sensor for controlled drying Front Loading Anti-crease function 60cm width (Standard Appliance Size) Ok I have had this tumble dryer for a while now and can honestly say that it has been one of the best buys I have made. The dryer is the vented type which means that you will have to have access to an externall wall to fit the outflow pipe to. The pipe and fittings are supplied in the box for fittment to the tuble dryer end but you will have to arrange your own external wall cover as these are not supplied. In our case this was not a problem as it was a direct replacement for a differnt dryer and as all fittings are of a standard size it was simply a case...
