Energy Consumption kwh / year is 117 It is Energy Savings Trust recommended It is HFC/CFC Free Energy Efficiency Rating is classified as A+ height x width x depth (mm) 850x600x620 It has 3 glass shelves and 2 separate crisper draws, door shelves and also a diary compartment. General comments. I'm a fan of Whirlpool products and this is no exception. We paid £156-00 (excluding delivery) from Sainsbury's. It arrived well packaged, and after letting it settle after transport and turing it on, it was quickly at a nice cool temperature. It has Auto Defrost facility (as you would expect with most fridges today) but one nice little touch is the lips on the glass... Read review

...filter I change about once a year and costs £28 delivered but I had to hunt for this price as whirlpool charge about £40. Problems. I took out insurance with this when I bought it for 5 years for about £150( actually got this free when did a bit or bargaining in the shop). Best thing I did as I have had the engineer out 3 times over 3 years and lost all the food in the fridge freezer in one instance. The callouts were free with the insurance and they altered the circulation in the frisge and changed the control panel. The insurance paid for all the food. Reccommended if you buy these big american freezers take out insurance. Only other problem is the size. Delivery got it through my front door but could not get it through the kitchen door as a worktop in the way. Had to pay someone £50 to take the doors off to get it in the right place... Read review

...i have had this fridge for well over a year now, and have been very pleased. last year we had our kitchen extended, to almost double the size, we managed to fill up a good deal of the new big kitchen, and thought it only logical to get a nice big beefy fridge as well. i first choice was a maytag, but to cut a long story short, we were really let down by them, poor customer service after a fault, meant we sent it back and got a refund on principle. so it was this whirpool, it looks great, a nice stylish black colour, its energy A, so its very efficient apparntly, not sure how this can be checked, but the electricity bill didnt shoot up vast amounts so i cannot complain. the great thing about this fridge is the front drinks/ice machine., it is amazing, it has ice cold drinking water ready to poured out, which is great when u... ...This is the fridge freezer that my parents bought about 7 months ago. They bought it for £1220 from Currys, quite expensive! The machine is very large and bulky and a large kitchen is needed for it not to look silly. Its dimensions are 80 * 90 * 190cm. The right hand door (looking at it) opens the fridge and the left the freezer. Both sections have vast amounts of space - fridge 420L, freezer 220L. The freezer is frost free which is brilliant, such a nice feature! the machine looks great, we have a white one with glass shelves inside - v.nice! There are shelves and drawers on both sides so lots of places for various food types. The fridge door has lots of shelves from top to bottom and can be used to store jars/sauces/wine etc... ...as opposed to 93 litres freezing space didn't make the fridge top heavy as many makers seemed to. The freezer compartment suits me being at the bottom, making the height of day to day access easier and less tiresome. The shelves in the fridge are rather easy to clean, and I like the clean lines of the interior, with transparency that allows a user to see at a glance what is in the fridge. Door shelves are nice and deep although a little irritating to clean, though what I do like is the availability of door shelves where things do not fall out, and Whirlpool seem to have addressed this problem nicely with the depth of door shelving. The glass shelves have a spill guard which is extremely handy since accidents do happen. I also like the area that the makers have provided to keep salad stocks fresh. ...the minute the door was opened. Fridge rage was getting to me and I swore that when we finally got round to doing the kitchen we would make sure that refrigeration was a major design feature. The research started in earnest in September with direct comparisons of volumes between the wide variety of fridges and freezers on offer and I have to admit that the side by side american style fridge freezers win hands down for maximising capacity in the smallest volume. They aren't small by any means but by golly they are efficiently designed. That narrowed the choice down and a happy day was spent in the various retailers looking at all the options available to see what would suit us the best. In the end, as always, it came down to price. ...Bought this a little over a year ago and the fridge part has stopped cooling! We called whirlpool and luckily we had an extended warranty but it took whirlpool a week from when we phoned to send out the engineer who then said the central board has stopped working. Which for a fridge that is just a year old is shocking! Anyway the control board will now take another 10 days to arrive it's a good thing we kept our old smaller fridge which we have no choice but to keep using. I am very disappointed that after year something like this could go wrong with the fridge and after spending about £400 you dont expect it to play up so soon. When it was working fine the fridge was perfect, lots of space and drawers, looks good and easy to clean. maybe if you are thinking of buying this fridge my expereinces could be just a one off and you... ...I am a Whirlpool fan and they have never disappointed me with any of their products and this fridge freezer is my latest in a long line of appliances I have bought over the past 15 years. It is one of the new A energy efficient fridge freezers and offers a frost free totally maintance free appliance. It is pleasing to the eye and the pocket. The freezer offers three drawers with plenty of space and has clear fronts to them so you can see instanly what is in them. The fridge is brilliantly thought out with a four bottle wine race and clear glass shelves that are both attractive and practical and very easy to keep clean. There are two drawers for salad and vegetables also with clear fronts to match the shelves and the freezer drawers. My house is just across the road. So I thought, I will get good after-sales service. But it was otherwise. After just six months the refrigerator started showing defects. Some times it did not cool for a few hours. So when I gave complain at the dealer, from whom I purchased it, 'Spectravision', they took one or two days to send some mechanic. By then the problem would have automatically set right, or else the mechanic would do some thing by which it became OK for some days. But it re-occurred time and again. We installed Whirlpool appliance model # RBD275PDS14 (double wall oven) with serial number XR4311868 3 years ago. The following is a chronological list by date of what had transpired regarding our earnest attempts to have our oven repaired. Saturday June 2, 2007: Upper oven was in use at a temperature of 250 degrees. The upper oven outer glass shattered.
