...I found that there is a cheap chocolate trio available is Sainsbury?s Basics series. Actually I have tried all of them but now I review the white chocolate. First impressions ---------------------- This chocolate is in a white wrapper as the Sainsbury?s Basics series usually are wrapped. The Sainsbury?s logo and the White Chocolate title on it are written with orange. The bar is 100 g and costs 0.27 pounds. The wrapper can be opened easily. It is cheap wrapper so don?t expect to be re-sealable. It has all the nutritional and ingredients information on the wrapper. The white chocolate looks exactly the same as white chocolates look. It has a light beige colour. It smells sweet but in positive way. Have a Break, Have a (white chocolate) Kit Kat

Advantages: A lovely snack, a great alternative to the originalold favourite.

Actually I don?t have a sweet tooth, so resisting chocolate isn?t too hard a choice for me, but having said that I do like Kit Kats and I do prefer white chocolate. Even so, had it not been for the ?Ciao Challenge?, I would probably not have tried it. Disadvantages: Misleading.

...This chocolate snack product is manufactured by KP. These 'Chic Dips' have been around for absolutely years! Only more lately they have been a lot less noticeable among all the new novel chocolate and sweet products on offer. The KP Choc Dips come in side a carton, like that of a yogurt. The cartons are also probably slightly smaller than a regular Ski Yogurt carton, both diameter wise and height wise. The white chocolate variety comes in a white carton as stated, and is primarily decorated in a red/white design around the side. A splodge of chocolate forming the shape of a man holding a stick of biscuit also decorates the carton. ...To those that are old enough - do you remember that advert with the 2 old folk that say "we don?t like change do we?"...well that's me! I'm loyal to the stuff I like, I have friends that I made when I was 4 years old, I still have the same mobile phone I purchased around 5 years ago, and I still love a kit kat. Growing up my dad always had these in the choccie cupboard and being young I thought they were boring, but these days being older and wiser, I don?t think you can beat one especially straight from the fridge. The dark chocolate, mint choc and orange varieties came and went without even piquing my curiosity but then there came the white one. I love white chocolate but find it can be more sickly than milk or dark and sometimes just doesn't work (see Maltesers white - no ta!) I just thought that I would give this one a go...

Advantages: In a crazy world of special editions & flavour variations this product stands out from the rest !
Disadvantages: A fear that one day they will be replaced, re-invented or retired (it happens) !!!

...and 1945) the "KIT KAT CHOCOLATE CRISP" . became an extremely popular product and was even portrayed by the Government as being the ideal food for active people during the war-time period !!! In 1945 the Second World War was over and "KIT KAT CHOCOLATE CRISP" changed from a red a white wrapper to a blue wrapper. This was to signify that the chocolate being used was no longer milk chocolate but plain chocolate (due to food shortages). However, by 1947 the food shortages had ended. Milk chocolate was once again widely available so the product was re-introduced with it's red and white packaging ... it was also re-named as simply being a "KIT KAT". Ten years later (in 1957) the "KIT KAT" was one of the very first products to be advertised on TV. In 1988 Rowntree's was taken over by Nestle and Kit Kats became their number one product...

White Chocolate Heaven!

Advantages: Delicous low calorie drink
Disadvantages: Nothing

...Whilst doing the Slimming World Diet last year I was introduced to the delights of Options hot drinks. I have such an incredibly sweet tooth that whenever I embark on a diet I always lose my willpower to satisfy my craving for something sweet. So when I heard about these, especially the white chocolate variety I thought I should try them. I chose to buy the individual packs of single drinks, which cost me 25p each from Sainsbury's as this way I could test a few flavours but in the end I decided I would continue to buy them in this way as it was convenient and easy to make up as a drink and as I never had more than one a day it was still fairly cost effective to buy single sachets.
